The giveaway for the month of May is: Hyrule Historia! The book is the US English Hardcover version brought to you by Dark Horse Books and Nintendo, not the Japanese version.

For those unfamiliar with Hyrule Historia, it is a book full of Legend of Zelda Artwork, concept art and the official timeline outlining the order of how the games take place. It goes into deep into the makings and origins of the Legend of Zelda Series and its games.

Hyrule Historia is a great addition to every zelda fan’s collection!

The rules remain the same with the addition that, unfortunately only members residing in the United States can enter to win.

You must at least purchase a free contest entry from our forum shop to enter. Additional entries can be purchased for 100 rupees each. Rupees are received by posting in our forums.

It didn’t take long for fans to take to the game to try and find the exact spot in A Link to the Past that was displayed earlier in the Zelda 3DS announcement trailer. They have come back with the below comparisons showing us that, while the terrain may have changed slightly it really is the same world and terrain as A Link to the Past. The game is said to be taken in the same world as A Link to the Past and will feature “layered gameplay,” by allowing Link to jump up to another level of a dungeon.

One of the new additions to the game will be, that Link will be able to make himself a movable painting on a wall, allowing him to reach places he has not been able to get to before.

The game is set to be released this year in December, but we will see if Nintendo can uphold its due date. I expect we will see more game footage this come E3 in a few months, as well as The Wind Waker Remastered and possibly Legend of Zelda Wii U.

The earliest US dates are June 10th in San Francisco and June 12th for Los Angeles. Tickets are already on sale so hurry up and get your tickets!

The show starts May 23rd in London and will end October 19th in Grand Rapids, MI for a total of 11 shows.

ZELDA IS COMING BACK TO SAN FRANCISCO!

As part of “The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses” world tour for 2013, the acclaimed concert will revisit Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco on June 10th, once again capturing the hearts of video game enthusiasts and music lovers. Following the huge success of 2011-2012, concert goers in the Bay Area will journey back to the land of Hyrule and enjoy an all-new season of breathtaking, new material, exploring additional chapters from the The Legend of Zelda franchise, as well as preserving the beautifully orchestrated four-movement symphony from last season.

Based on one of the most popular and beloved video game series of all time, the tour—which has been hailed as a modern classic—features live orchestral performances of theme music from Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda franchise. The name “Symphony of the Goddesses” refers not only to the concert program but also to its four-movement symphony, the first of its kind in video game music history, recounting classic story lines from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Fans will relish in their favorite moments from the game, carefully and beautifully timed with a gorgeous, larger-than-life orchestral score. The concert is a festive event for all walks of fans, who are encouraged to don their hero’s tunics and master swords for the experience of a lifetime.
