On July 4th 1776 (actually August 2nd) the Continental Congress signed the Declaration of Independence, effectively severing colonial ties with Great Britain. In just 200 short years the United States has risen to become one of the most powerful and prosperous nations on Earth. But to this day people the world over are savaged by Tyrants who live in splendour while people ration food to avoid starvarion. This 4th instead of crying "America rules" like uninformed tools, take a moment to think about those who have no Independence.
