im currently projecting and homeworking and tryingnottofail-ing so im probably not going to be as active as usual for a while, but im down with this.

i know trying to explore places in oracle of seasons was p fun for me....and by explore, i mean "ninja your way into zones you dont have the obvious item needed to access them"

boss rushes and extra dungeons in Spirit Tracks was a hit for me, as was charting out the unmapped islands in Phantom Hourglass...i get the feeling mine are gonna be p tame ideas, though :<

would it be possible to have mini-mod powers for our individual game threads? even just locking/unlocking would be great, and the timed locking tappy mentioned sounds awesome.
 
this is why my PMs usually say "notifications off" as soon as i get to them :/ i like having that first email so that when i check my phone, i can see when my PM has gotten dished out, or replied to, etc, but when im hosting a game, its just.....ugh.
 
its hard to kick someone from a game, since its unfair to town (decreasing their numbers without a lynch or nightkill) but inactive players are my biggest pet peeve. i like this "adding votes" system. possibly a vote or two added for each game day they dont post in thread? and decrease it by the number of posts they throw out afterwards (eg, if youre inactive enough to garner 4 votes, posting once wont take that count to 0)
 
on the flip side, if there was a nightkill on night 0, someone wouldnt even get to talk in the thread. wolves tend to have secondary powers anyway, so id personally just limit their actions to their secondary powers for that night.

I think the use of the country as a whole performing the actions is because getting down to the nitty gritty of "X did this but Y abstained" results in really petty, dodgy talk, and apologies are harder to extract, and history is harder to write. It's like, when it gets to the point where no one in the area at the time has an unbiased alibi for not doing something, and they're acting as the representatives of their country, then it becomes the actions of their country. Similar thing for not having repercussions from their own country on their actions.

I've honestly got a sorta weird view on any social justice argument or arguments in general. That is, the moment you're calling names, you've lost the fight--so even if someone is arguing for rights or whatnot and I agree with the cause, if they're dropping crude insults and names, I have zero respect for them. You can debate, you can try to persuade, but the moment you throw a tantrum like a small child, you will get absolutely nothing done, because no one will listen to that, and now everyone that follows you is stuck with your anger plastered on their dash.

I'm really sorry to hear that your close friends don't listen to you talk about your problems, but I think it sounds like you've got your approach to the problem a little misguided. Unless you're cramming your problems down their throat in every conversation you have with them as often as you might have them, somebody not caring about your problems is much more a sign of something being wrong with them, not you. If your friends don't care about you then get new friends. Your quality isn't defined by what other people think of you.
