So this hasn't been posted in in forever.

My little brother is playing Sonic Adventure 2 right now. I can hear Escape from the City coming from the the other room and I am IMMENSELY PROUD RIGHT NOW.

Currently playing through Star Fox Adventures. Considering the last time I played this game was back in 2007, I'm feeling so seriously old playing this right now. I remember back when I first got the game and my mom passed a brick because my dad had the nerve to buy me a T rated game. I don't know why people don't like this game, I found it to be an interesting Zelda/Starfox mix.
Also I'm spending about twenty minutes a day still on City folk, and about another fifteen a day working on the tutorial of how to play Persona 4 Arena. I'll figure it out one day. I swear it.

I know one guy who gave up video games, as well as a girl who gave up eating meat. And several people who gave up coffee. Which, considering how most teenagers are with caffeine, will probably prove interesting.
 
I hate when people are left completely aghast and insulted when they ask me what I gave up and I say, "jack squat". Hey, I'm atheist. That's my choice. Not like anyone takes the Lent thing seriously anyways. And why should my beliefs affect them in any way? Seriously.

You should definitely do that, Spyro 2 is the best Spyro game IMO.

Assassin's Creed III has taken up most of my time these days. After a week or so of Black Ops II, its safe to say I'm done with it for a while. I am absolutely bored to tears. Not saying I'm the best player, but the online offers little to no new experiences. 

I like how in ASIII, you can't just counter-kill everyone anymore. (That is how I passed the previous games in the series.) It actually takes a little more planning and doing if you choose to pick a an open fight. Its great, in my opinion. It forces you to use more stealth.

The joke is that T1g is going to overthrow Sahaqiel, the lord of fire, and begin the age of Dark

Been on a Persona 4 rush recently, probably gonna get Arena 'cause I heard it's actually a very good fighting game, and though I've watched through Yosuke's storyline I'd like to play the others'.

IT'S JUST...

Academically, I finally feel like I am making personal musical accomplishments. Unlike most other music performance majors, I did not start learning music at ages between 3-12. I was self-taught through the books and fingering charts the school handed me, along with the school's clarinet I was provided. My intended goal was to study with a world-renowned Clarinetist by the name of Hakan Rosengren at the California State University, Fullerton. Having no proper training before hand, I didn't stand a chance in the auditions, and have since been discouraged due to the other talented students surrounding me. (I got into the school itself, but needed to audition to be a music major). 

Up until this year, I was just "settling" with my musical studies. Looking back, I guess I was still a bit demoralized after seeing how far behind I was to others my age in this field. Only now, am I really reaching my potential, and have even surpassed some musicians classes ahead of myself. 2012 has been a positive turning point, and I hope to keep growing my musicianship into 2013 and beyond.

My greatest achievement is a family matter, however. After nearly two years of silence, my brother and I started this year on good terms. He was going through a rebellious phase which has thankfully passed. I missed having a brother.

So I've been reading this blog today, Sleep Talkin' Man. Basically, this guy talks in his sleep every night and says some freaking hilarious things, so his wife records them and they share the best on their blog.

A few of my current favorites: "Stop throwing dinosaurs everywhere! It's gonna take me forever to get the pterodactyls down from the wardrobe. Oh, you messy little velociraptors."

"This ginger ninja's gonna stick you with his syringa. Yeah."

"No, you're NOT going out like that. Your feathers all ruffled and beak covered in that nasty lipstick, and that excuse for a skirt. You look like one of those street-corner dirty chickens. Go back upstairs and put something decent on. You live under my coop, you behave and you dress like a good chicken! This is hard-boiled love, you know."

"Oi! Oi! Stay out of my poop, Magneto. You've been warned."
