Is that the game were you play as Raiden (?) and it's like a hack and slash kinda game, as opposed to the normal MGS stealth games? If so Kill la Kill would be perfect for that kinda game like 100%!

Status update- I finished JoJo battle tendencies, Kars is the coolest. I mean all the characters are fairly cliche, and the story is very predictable for the most part, but it's still really charming! Those "faults" may even work in its favor!

So I finished BT, and picked back up where I left off on Stardust Crusaders, and am now just starting the second half, battle in Egypt. I realized recently, that Jojo could easily be considered a horror series just as much as a fighting series. But not in the typical emo anime fashion (like bleach or soul eater) but more in the "weird as puppy Japanese slasher" kinda of sense. thematically it reminds me of stuff like the grudge or the ring or uzumaki. You know, weird scary shit that has "rules" applied to it, like how each specific stand functions to scare you and tear your flesh apart. Lmao it's really fun, my favorite genre mixed with the classic fighting genre, and add a little (a lot) of homoeroticism to boot! It's like this show was made for me. Haha I can't believe I gave up on it before. I mean I can't marathon it past three or four episodes at a time. But it's simple enough to follow while high, but trippy and weird enough to make it worth being high while watching it. Like I said, perfect show for me! Thanks, Eric, for pushing me to get back into it.

Can someone make a Jojo anime thread? I won't use it till I'm caught up on it, but I'm excited to talk to someone about it when I get there. I wish the show was dubbed so I could enjoy it with my irl friends.

The Hell's Kitchen of the Marvel Universe is like a mirror of the real Hell's Kitchen when it was first introduced in the comics. I mean, now the real HK is apparently pretty nice, at least compared to how it used to be, which is what the Marvel HK is based on. Does that make sense? I think it works cause Avengers 1 battle of New York took place in this universe, so it would make sense that it's currently run down and crime ridden.

High fantasy is the worst. Game of thrones is the only one of the genre that's ever held my interest. High fantasy is basically "super realism" if magic were real and everyone was white lol. So boring and political!

I'm all for innovation, but when the immersion is broken, I don't like it. Having to re-calibrate the Wii Motion+ every ten minutes in Skyward Sword is lame. And the upcoming game looks similar. All of the HUD stuff and the stacking stuff seems lame.

Since Zelda as a series is sort of a...Anthology? I would say there are times when realism is called for, and times when high fantasy are called for. Right now, high fantasy is the thing, maybe with From software style used world stapled onto it.

Im not saying Ammonsa is in the right. I just really dont think either of them should be punished for making shitty threads.

I think a lot of people mirror others' personalities in order to get by and feel comfortable with other people. One of my colleagues at work is from Australia, yet she has a Scottish accent from living here so long. My mother only speaks in her own Scottish accent when she's talking to her sisters. It's a coping thing I guess?
 
Being able to integrate into a culture is a good resilient quality. I'm not very good at it really. It's not necessarily weak to be influenced by others. 

I casually collect comics, but only ones i enjoy reading. I dont go after back issues or variant covers and stuff. Nor do i keep them mint.
Sometimes I'll get into a TCG and collect cards, until me and my friends become broke and cant afford any more lol

The concept of 'tasteful' shitposting doesn't even make much sense. Shitposting is kind of an art to me, and this one is not to my taste.

Probably, yeah? But Cassandra IS a mod. She has even less of an excuse than Ammonsa. Punish Ammonsa if you want for making one or two dumb threads, but if so, you should punish Cassandra an equal amount based on how many more of these threads shes made in comparison. Double. Standard.

Photorealistic faces in games are harder to project yourself on and identify with. So I'll say unrealistic is good. 
 
But also, I felt like the art style of Wind Waker was good, but I didn't like Skyward Sword's. 

But not the hero Gotham needs.

I was on another site that was discussing a feature in Zelda that apparently made the game less "realistic" and "immersive".
 
Considering the fact that Zelda is a fantasy game, I personally feel that realism is far from important. In fact, I'd say unrealisticness is actually what makes the Zelda games more interesting and fantastic.
