P. much what Shaq said. Not only is our community tough to get into, we just don't make content that interests new users, I feel. The only thing we have going for us are the podcasts that Nabe has us put together. If we put together video guides or even made videos about unrelated things, the site might look a bit more tempting. As is, the site is pretty barren since we barely even put up news or make new content.
It's not exactly our fault though, we have to worry about school/college and other things in our lives and I feel most of us don't have the time to make the home we already know and love look lively and such for newcomers. Although, it would be nice if we all had time for that. It's like we're all living in this dilapidated, one-hundred year old house that looks awful to everyone else, but we still cherish the memories we've experienced inside it and still love living in it. We just won't repair or fix it.
Poor thing. ;~;

So my dog had to go get fixed today, poor guy. Last night my mom told me not to feed him after midnight. I started laughing and she looked confused.
I had to remind her that the dog's name is Gizmo.

part 2
i'm gonna talk about the other half of my charleston brand chew now
no pictures this time
i'm too hungry for that
so i just took it out of the freezer
its very cold
it was supposed to be in for 2 hours
20 hours
whose counting
the first thing i notice when biting into this frozen charleston brand chew is that i can't bite into it
its really cold and hard
but luckily i have strong teeth
and i'm feisty
ow
apparently not so feisty
that really hurts
not because its cold
because the pseudo chocolate is scaring the roots out of my teeth
with sugar
the first half opened up the cavity and the second half did the dirty work
well played charleston brand
all in all this was familiar
it tastes the same
differences are that it was colder
and harder to bite
i give frozen charleston brand chew #2 a score of kinda okay
one sec i need to brush my teeth real bad
okay i'm back
now that i have talked about this important product
i'm going to do a smaller review next time as space between talking about important things
so join me next time when i review the nintendo 3ds
i'm going to have nachos now because i'm still disappointed and hungry
i won't talk about the nachos on the internet though
cuz everybody's had nachos
and if not i don't want to steal your first experiences

hey
i bought lots of stuff lately
so i'm gonna talk about it
and this is the place where i'm gonna talk about it
my journalism debut
first:
sahaqiel likes charleston brand chews a lot
i don't but he says i should
so i got one and i'm gonna talk about it
it was hard to find but i did it
are they any good? find out now
here it is
i like the rebranding and the new colors
the slogan is "bursting with peanuts rich caramel and chewy nougat"
peanuts? caramel? that's a bold new move from charleston brand chews
consider me excited for this candy bar sequel
still no cocoa butter so it's not chocolate
but they dropped the advertising term chocolatey so that's good
i like honesty in advertising
also it has tbhq now
but hey we all die eventually
i don't detect any odor from outside of the packaging
which makes sense because it's not chocolate
i assume there are real peanuts
but the peanuts don't smell because they are enrobed
in pretend chocolate
which doesn't breathe
let's move on
i was told by sahaqiel to put half in the freezer
so i will do that
that's easy because it comes in two pieces
more points for change, charleston brand
well done
i can smell it now
it smells like death
this is the half i will eat now
i ate it
tastes okay i guess
the peanuts and caramel help me ignore the metallic taste
i give charleston brand chews #2 a rating of okay
thanks sahaqiel for the recommendation
this was still a better experience than original charleston brand chews
come back later for the second part

So last night my car died 2 blocks from my house, on my way to work, so I had to call in. This is after a week of dealing with a failing battery and starter(not shown), to have both replaced friday for like $250. So this morning my friend and I were working on taking out the alternator to have it tested at Auto Zone, then he left and I rode with mom and had them check it out. We had fun trying to get that stupid reservoir out of the way to pull out a bolt holding that 'nator in.
So we got to AZ and they test it, it fails everything. No output. So I buy a new one, Duralast, with a lifetime warranty, and we go home to get it in. I struggled a bit with lining it up right at first, but I got it. So reservoir back out of the way to get the bolt in, no problems. Got the alternator back in place, and then it was time for the hard part. Getting the serpentine belt back on. Turns out, I hate it. Took like 15 minutes just to get the order figured out, then another 15 to get it on. Then it wasn't even on properly later, but it had just slipped a bit and was easily corrected.
Got everything hooked back up, mom had gone to the doctor, but her friend came over to help me jump start it. It took some messing around to get the cables to work right, but then it started right up. So happy. I asked him if he knew why my windshield fluid wasn't working, so we took a look at it. The motor worked, so he disconnected the hose and told me to try again. The fluid squirted right over my engine to the pavement below. We figured there was a leak or blockage further up the hose, so I get to have that checked out sometime, woo.
Then her friend left, and I came inside to get some sleep before work tonight, but wanted to tell you all this little story of my car troubles.
Here's the picture I color coded (Not my car, but the same model)

Guitars can have however many strings you want, but 6 is the most common. Having the extra six strings gives you an extra octave, except for the B and e strings, because for a B to be an octave higher, the string would be so thin and taut that just tuning it would likely break it, and an octave e would just be ridiculous. It would be too small to be heard at all.

yeh tappy, but they're p. expensive too; the most expensive, in fact
here you go chime-tals
Membranes vs. Scissor-Switch vs. Mechanical
I'm using a pretty good membrane keyboard at the moment. I'd prefer a scissor switch keyboard because of how silent and low-profile they are, if only they were easier to clean. But this keyboard is good too. Here it is pictured in the best possible keyboard/mouse configuration.
A wired keyboard with a retractable travel mouse plugged into its USB port on the top right. I don't really have enough room for this to actually fit on my desk, so I just keep them individually plugged into the Darktop. But when I can use it like this, it's perfect. It's also trés easy to clean on account of it doing this:
So ya I'm pretty satisfied with my mouse/keyboard setup.

SO. I finally got a long-needed haircut today. reaches down to just my shoulders now (i.e where the picture cuts off) instead of my mid-back jeez. Allows me to actually be able to walk outside without the wind destroying it and getting it in my face and making me look like a sea creature. and now i can actually see through my fringe (bangs? is that the dumb american term)! so now I actually think I look good, it makes me look (somewhat) cute? well i think so anyways so. oh and I can now actually. post a picture in here without feeling hugely embarrassed lol. if only i had a decent camera sigh.
next step: figuring out what colour i want to dye it... so many choices, so many pretty colours that would suit me. decisions are hard.
