So these two women in the bank said men couldn't find things right in front of them because of their testosterone. It didn't make sense. I think they were implying men can't find things as well as women.

That's fine, go to the kitchen and find me a sammich.

didn't I make a thread about the pronunciation of my name once lol

originally it was "keert" but then I started thinking "seert" and then people here said "sert" and "curt" so
consequently I will answer to all of the above in a Skype call
though if we ever met irl I'd prefer Kelsey

Jared, if you weren't gay I'd swear you were straight.

You've got so many females up on your facebook.

    Life isn't hell, either.

It's a good mix of the two, with ups and downs that vary in degree based on a wide range of things. Race, Sex, Income, Caste, etc.

I'm not asking you to be overwhelming optimistic. That blinds you from terrible situations. But on the opposite end of the spectrum, being cynical blinds you from the goodness in people. Just be careful about going against the popular choice in every situation. Just because something is popular doesn't make it wrong.

That said, I agree that a healthy dose of skepticism does the body good.

There was once this dude who was just strolling down a beach. Y'know, just chillin' and shit. However, he then comes upon this guy throwing starfish back into the ocean after they got stuck from when the tide ebbed. But, y'know, that's like a squid ton of starfish. So, this dude's like "Hey, what's the point even? It's not like you can throw them all back and make a difference. Give it up."
However, after tossing another starfish back in the ocean, the guy's like "Well, maybe. But, hey, made a difference to that star fish."

Something I read way back when that I thought I would tell you guys about in the voice of someone who thinks it makes a valid point: me.

Oh, if only I was as cynical as you. The world might be a better place, where sarcasm replaces charity, because "no one can give selflessly" and "you aren't really doing any good, you know? You aren't really making a difference. You shouldn't feel good about yourself."

You don't have to support this particular movement, or any movement, whatever. But God forbid some lazy Americans try to spread goodwill through their facebook instead of racial, gender, or sexual orientation slurs.

God forbid anyone try to do anything at all.

It's okay to be cynical. I'm not saying your viewpoint is "wrong" or anything. Just keep in mind that, if everyone had the attitude that you have, nothing good would ever get done. No one would donate to charity because it's impossible to do so out of the kindness of your heart, and even if it is out of the kindness of your heart, it's going to a corrupt and inconsistent system.

Chase wants a controller that allows him to play SS without motion controls.

But that would require a button for each of the 9 directions you can swing the sword (you guys forgot about thrusting)

but you guys have forgotten that there is in fact a controller like this. A controller that was created by seers, looking into the future so they would be able to learn how to make good controllers, beyond their own time

They made the controller for this very moment

Oh, you're completely right! Sorry about that, my fault entirely, allow me rephrase that to "analogous cool hues" instead.

Also, thank you for the welcome. At least, so I think.

Picture all of us in a big circle, gabbing away about anything and everything not related to Zelda. Then, all of a sudden, you burst into the middle and say "hey guys! Look, Zelda!" and we all glare at you through our hipster glasses with cold, murderous looks.

[17:26] <Cirno> I was listening to the Zelda 25th anniversary music disc last night and a thought appeared
    [17:26] <%Fierce_Muffin> Was it a productive thought?
[17:26] <Cirno> I can picture Cloud Strife winding up in Hyrule
