I don't believe anyone is good but God. You sin differently than I do, but sin is still sin. If you don't deserve heaven, then neither do I. Obviously some sins are worse than others, but the punishment for all sin is death, regardless. We're all going to die. And we're all going to be raised from the dead by Christ.

Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess. You will go to heaven, though you won't get to continue doing the sinful things you do now, so it will be easier on you if you discipline yourself in this life. I don't even think sex will be a thing in heaven, though, let alone gay sex. We will all have new, perfect bodies. Things you think are difficult to do now will be nothing to you then.

There is no hell, from what I can decipher. That was drummed up by someone in the Middle Ages, to keep people fearful of the Church and keep the Church in power. There is only life and death. You are either alive, or you are dead. We're all doomed to die due to sin, but Christ sacrificed himself so that we may have life again. Those that believe in Christ will be punished in this world and will be raised into their new bodies. Those who don't believe will be judged based on their lives and will be quenched of all sin in a holy fire. Then their spirits will be given new bodies as well. The punishment in this life is apparently much easier than what will come next, so believing in Christ in this life does have its benefits, including love and the knowledge that you are eternally protected by God.

God considers persecution and hate to be acceptable punishments for Christians. All Christians should expect persecution, so I don't know whether I should feel blessed that my life has been fairly great, or that I should feel disheartened because I'm not a true believer. But, I don't feel it was meant to be this complicated.

The simple truth is that I do, in fact, believe in Christ and I look forward to the day when he will wipe every tear from our eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things will be gone forever. Only love will remain.    And wow, holy wall of text. Sorry, I get to typing and don't really realize I'm typing so much. But hopefully you gained just a bit more insight into my perspective. And I hope I answered your question, lol.

If I own a business, it's my business. I don't want anyone, government, person, etc. telling me who I HAVE to serve. That's ridiculous. I don't have to do anything. I could refuse service to everyone and run my business into the ground if I want to. Most business owners are fairly intelligent. They know how to handle money, and they know who they want to serve. If they don't want to serve you as a customer, leave. Don't give them your money. They will change, or they will continue if enough people support them. If enough people fight against them, they will change or die. That's how capitalism works.

Eh, the law isn't entirely clear on that.

In one case, a bakery refused to write gay, anti-bible quotes on a cake. They were sued for discrimination, but won the case, due to their policy of not writing any kind of derogatory/hate speech on any cake, regardless.

In another case, a bakery was commissioned to make a cake for a gay wedding. The owner refused, so the gay couple sued the bakery and won. In this instance, the court ruled that the bakery did not have sufficient evidence to suggest they were refusing for any other reason than to be discriminatory.

Interestingly, both bakeries were sued due to potentially violating "religious beliefs." I find that odd, as I don't know of any western religion that says anything about gay marriage.

I don't believe anyone, regardless, should be forced to do anything they don't want to do. If I don't want to make a gay cake, you should never have the right to force me to make a gay cake. Just as if I were to commission you to make a cake with anti-gay writing, I wouldn't expect you to make it. Same principle with marrying gay couples, especially when it comes to church marriages by a priest/minister.

Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 would be much better games if they focused on Sonic entirely. Like, maybe only let you play as Sonic and Shadow. Add more Sonic stages, keep the chao garden like it is. That would make the games better, imo. The Knuckles/Rouge Tails/Eggman stages drag the game down. I only enjoy 2 of the Knuckles stages, 1 of the Rouge stages, 0 of the Tails stages, and 1 of the Eggman stages. I enjoy all but 1 of the Sonic and Shadow stages.

I think my favorite smell is freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. I also like new car smell, new game smell, and certain fabric softeners/soaps that I don't know the name of but could tell you when I smelled them.

Not a bad one to start off with probably. Betrayal plot threads are emotionally trying though. I don't like being a dirtbag.

Virtue's Laat Reward for the 3ds and Vita is a sequel to 999 for the DS, and the best visual novel I ever played. The third and final part of the trilogy was announced recently

I mean there's always a worse "evil" in the world that you can throw in the face of someone who feels strongly about something. "How can you care about a CVS when many black churches are being burned?"

"How can you care about black churches being burned when ______ is happening??!"

"How can you care about _____ when ______ is happening!"

It's just an endless and dumb cycle. No one can be personally affected by anyhing. They have to be a cosmic, collective hive mind that is aware of all suffering of every degree.

You can't attack someone for caring about something just because there's a bigger problem a few months later/a few miles away. It's good to be mindful of others' suffering, but when a bigger and badder problem comes along, people aren't and CANNOT retroactively "take back" their suffering. It's like hanging out at a funeral and saying "wow, grow up guys. People are dying of starvation, and you have the GALL to mourn this guy who died of natural causes!??"

It just seems like you want a spectrum of oppression and pain. Suffering is suffering. Of course it does help to ease/work through suffering by being knowledgable about the world around you, but there's literally no point in categorizing and "rating" pain

I mean, I have a pretty clear idea of what is going to happen next episode.

One, Cersei. Look to the name of the episode for that clue.
Two, Aria. I don't know exactly how it will play out, but I have an idea of how her story ends, so I'm sure she will be fine.
Three, Olly. They've been dropping massive hints in a few episodes now. Honestly not looking forward to it.

Aside from that, I'm not sure what else they can fit in. Hopefully a bit of Davos and maybe some Ramsay/Brienne?

If the ending goes like I think it will, it's going to blow a lot of minds. And break a lot of hearts.

As soon as Heavensward releases, I'm switching to Mechanist because I want a gun. Also I am the leading man.

The reasoning of holiay placement was so that the pagans who were used to their own traditions would have less of a leap to get to the christian version, made conversion a bit simpler. Also why Christmas is in december.most of those events are pretty secular these days though. I celebrate easter for the delicious ham.

It is rather ironic to celebrate the resurrection of Christ on a holiday called Easter. But that's none of my business...

Does anyone remember when you could laugh and learn something from Cracked.com?

Lately, in the past year or more, it's only vaguely interesting stuff. Also, you're going to get propaganda on 2/5 articles if you aren't already getting feminist stuff. Just adapting to what they think people want, I guess. But man I used to spend so much time there.

Final Fantasy 2 has the most open ended job system bar none. It's like the Elder Scrolls games except you level literally everything by using it (getting hit makes you gain max HP, attacking physically gives you a point in Strength, using a sword makes your weapon proficiency with blades increase, even individual spells level up so you can become more efficient at casting fire to get fira/firaga level damage in exchange for not having those spells actually in the game). You really can make a character that's good at literally anything you want, you can model them after traditional jobs or just make your own up (A lightly armored staff and shield user with status-inflicting magics, a clothes-wearing white magic-using monk, an armored 'dark knight' that uses sword/axe and black magic). The sky's the limit really, it's awesome.

Of course that comes with the responsibility of managing literally everything as well. There aren't actual level-ups in II, just stat-ups for everything, so you're required to keep track of the stat-gaining progress of every character and make sure they're not lagging behind in the stats they need to cast their magic (either the Intelligence they need to increase damage, the Magic stat they need to increase their MP gains per stat-up, or the MP stat itself used to determine how much magic they can cast, or even the level of the spells you've taught them that determine damage/effectiveness of the spell). Of course this also applies to physical weapon damage which doesn't have an MP equivalent to worry about but is nonetheless governed by Strength and your proficiency in the type of weapon you're using (shields included). Basically, it's a lot to keep in mind especially if you want to make a lot of dual physical/magical characters.

And yeah, the game keeps you on your toes with dungeons and monsters that are tough as nails. Pretty much every dungeon has a common enemy that was the boss of a recent dungeon, and everything else you can encounter either has some way of inflicting death/petrification/ something that'll kill you quickly or just plain hits hard. And the dungeons themselves... they're not too big, but you have dead ends and, even worse, "trap rooms" where you're teleported to the center of a small square room with an exit to the south and a random enemy encounter rate so high you'll be running into all those old boss enemies every step you take. The game stays consistently difficult throughout so you better be prepared for everything even when you're just going over to the next town (even some of the overworld enemies can really tear into you if you go too far from the path to the next objective).

Overall it's a very challenging game with the awesome reward of letting you tackle it in about a million different ways. Oh, and you can always easy-mode by giving Firion a teleport spell and just leveling it up to 6 or so, then cast it on everything for instant victory against anything that isn't  a significant boss battle. Lots of exploits like that if you just want to follow the (only really good for a NES game) story. So yeah, to an extent you decide how hard the game is too. Overall one of my favorites in the series even though a lot of people dislike it.

I'm still reeling from the same thing I posted about on the 20th of April. It's still on my mind.

My idea of myself is still totally breaking down in the realisation that how I see myself doesn't mean shit to anybody else. No matter how sympathetic someone is deep down, they can still be done out by a lot of unlikable mannerisms, and that no amount of justification makes up for such shortcomings in charisma.

For every mistake I'm called out on, it clashes with my self image, and I tell myself "that's not who I am". I give my reasoning and try to make it okay, but deeds are deeds, and it's not okay. That is who I am. I said it, I did it, that's me. I just have to learn to live with my mistakes and not make excuses.

I just feel like I've been getting dragged out of denial to face what I'm made of over the last month (and it really has been a month).

My detached sense of humour is just another way to distance myself from my unsavory characteristics.
