  1. Are you high? She is 100% badass milf. Never played the game so all I can speak of is aesthetics, but she is very attractive. Like, come on. It's like saying "I don't see race". Of course you do, doesn't make you an asshole to notice. Bayonetta is a very obviously sexy character.

She's not eye candy though just because she's hot. She's also a badass. It's a crying shame to ignore how rad she is as a character, from what footage I've seen.

  2. I want pheos theory to be right so much. I was thinking earlier that everyone having blocking roles is like everyone policing each other until nobody can do anything at all. Killing is even triggering in this game, technically. Like I'm the only person reporting any activity by a potential wolf, and now I'm dubious of even that, because of the terminology.

Our votes are accusations of privilege, and so if the majority agrees, it becomes accepted fact, and as far as we're concerned we made the right call, even if they didn't start the game with that alignment (we all considering ourselves brave). Like, once our minds are made up, we won't be like "wait no, they were brave". From that point on we remain convinced of our judgement, and as long as its the majority consensus then nobody will doubt that who we just eliminated deserved it. This is a moral battle, not a real one.

As cool as that would be and all though, probably better to assume it's a normal game.

  3. Don't worry Ganny, I still am :)

But that would be another paragraph of conjecture, and I'm already puppyed up enough with the uncertainty of truth and reason as it is. I'm just trying to grasp onto common sense before my thoughts lose their composure and become a formless mush.

  4. The Pheo and Silver conspiracy sounds like a longshot. Nothing means anything though considering how easy it is to muddle facts with speculation and sensationalist theories. I'd buy the Pheo/Silver conspiracy, not because I believe it, but because if it's true then we have an easy lead on the next target.

It's strange that there are so many blockers though.

Anybody can be the wolf with the right line of baseless reasoning and exciting "what if"s. Cirt is the only person here who doesn't require a sensationalist reason for lynching. She was blocked, and has no alibi for it. It feels so much more natural to just stick to facts on this one, without having to risk it on conspiracy theories.

Every single game, someone makes some great theory of deception, letting the obvious target right under town's nose. I remember the relief as the wolf, and as the teammate of wolves, when we'd sit in the groupchat going "wow, really? I can't believe they let us get away with that."

If we killed pheo and he turned out to be town, what would that get us? "So much for that theory" we sigh as we're left with the "but Cirt could have done it, reasonably speaking" situation.

I'm sticking to Cirt, and damn these sensationalist theories. They just muddy the waters. It'd be great if it was like those crime dramas where the first suspect is never the true suspect, but I feel like that familiar formula messes with these games a lot. Theories are a waste of time when they rely on conjecture. The Sherlock quote approximately "you twist facts to suit theories when you should twist theories to suit facts."

I know how much sensationalist theories can puppy with your perception of reality. Even now, I'm sensationalizing the "battle against sensationalism" because I really don't want to let a good lead go unchecked. Instead we're creating leads to suit pet theories, because we're convinced things can't be so simple. It's madness.

  5. Pheo - Blocked by Silver

    Dong - Blocked by T1G

    Linox - ???

    Ganny - ?????

Teto - Blocked someone, I guess

Cirt - Was blocked by someone, we guess

Ganny would have said something by now. Linox hasn't. Wishing I hadn't defended Linox now, considering we'd then at least have all the information to work with, and I'd still have my one invulnerable defending action. I took a hit that was meant for Linox, doled out by Ganny, or Cirt, unless we don't trust the block claimers.

To lend further believablity to my role: killing in this game is "triggering". I defend people by standing up for them on their behalf. I can put up with people being dicks once, but if I have to deal with privileged people again, ie get attacked, then I'll be triggered and thus be out from the game.

  6. Yeah, from what I just reread? He's lying. I think Teto is trying to cover his ass and say that someone else tried to "lethally" go after Linox when it was him.

If I was making a kill action, someone would have had to block me anyway. And if I was attacking someone last night, the point of who my target was is moot, because I would have been blocked anyway. If someone comes forward to say they blocked me, then sure, I guess you can say that I'm a good candidate for the lynch. But nobody has. If someone does, they're lying, and you should kill them once I'm proven to be Brave.

  7. I defended Aethix last night, and got hit with a kill action which broke my first line of defense.

@Teto: Why did you choose to protect Linox, the town's only inactive member, last night?

I said I protected Aethix; not Linox. How did you know I made a mistake, and why didn't you point it out? You just read "Linox" because that's what you expected to read?

But I'll answer your question anyway. I chose to protect Linox because I forget he and Aethix weren't the same person. Aethix was an asset in earlier games, and I figured people would target him because he's good. I asked to defend Linox, while thinking of Aethix. By whatever trick of the mind I went back to Aethix when recounting my action above. The fact you instinctively read Linox is pretty condemning evidence in my eyes. Got anything to say about that?

Aethix posted in another thread recently and I was like "why aren't they posting in the game??" lmao. That explains it. What a dope I am.

edit: I put a vote on you, but I removed it. I just realised, now that Aethix is off my mind, that Cirt said something about "targeting Linox", so she's still as suspicious. You also might have good understandable reasoning. I don't think you're someone we should cut out of the game lightly.

I think I could probably keep my vote on Cirt.

Would still be good to hear from you though.

  8. Pheonix surely can't the wolf. Cirt or Brodogo are likely to be, however. I'm one of these one-off defender types, meaning I can protect people by taking the hit. I get invulnerability the first time, but the second time I take a hit, I just die in their place. I defended Aethix last night, and got hit with a kill action which broke my first line of defense. Next time I protect someone I'll end up dead in their place if they're targeted to be killed. Maybe it was a vigilante, but look at all these blocking actions, any of the blocked people might have been attempting a kill. I'm willing to bet mine was the reason for the lack of a night kill.

So, with Cirt saying she was blocked, it's down to Cirt v Dong. If nobody can come forward to claim they blocked one of these two, then it's possible that I was the one who blocked them. Cirt's the less active though. If Dong's town it's a colossal loss for activity as he is now.

My only use as a defender now is in protecting people who I feel are more valuable to town than myself, so it's not a big deal if I reveal this, considering I think that Pheo's innocent.

Dong: How would you feel about lynching Cirt over Pheo?

  9. This isn't about you. I wanted to hear from Ganny, not you. My question was about finding out who he was, and you're compromising my purpose by answering on his behalf. If he answers likewise now, it will mean nothing.

Openly predicting the causes of other players is always a bad idea. They can just show up and go "what they said". Pheo, as town, defended Cirt last game when she was a wolf. He effectively did her work for her, and town was worse off for it.

Ganny asked you both about your activities in a way that looked like he was following a lead, but then never clarified that lead.

  10. How do you feel about Dong, Ganny? The person. Unfair of you to demand so much of someone when they're not even suspicious by a very wide margin. What was the purpose of your question before? I still find Dong suspicious enough for having been blocked, and yet you've passed over your attention on him to focus on pheo so closely. Give us something so we can trust your intentions.

"No, you first" tactics are in effect.

  11. She's newish, but popular enough. A spiritual successor to Devil May Cry I think. Her first game was multiplatform, but the sequel was Wii U exclusive, so it's like she's basically one of the gang. Like a cool transfer student who everybody wants to talk to, asking questions about other consoles countries.

It'd be nice if her franchise continued to be good and stuck around on Nintendo consoles. Putting her in Smash is maybe to do with that. Like Corrin. So they're both publicity choices, potentially.

  12. (Are we still using bold to highlight suspicion)

If I'm choosing who I think are the most suspicious, it'd be between Dong and Pheo. I feel like there's a likelihood of one of the blocks being the reason for the no kill result today. Out of the two of you, I'd choose Pheo, only because he hasn't answered Ganny. Dong was blocked, so it doesn't mean much to anybody else who he targetted, and it might all be a show devised by Ganny and Dong. We know they're in close cahoots from their activities outwith this thread, so I don't doubt that, if they ended up as wolf brothers, then they'd be well coordinated.

As a bonafide wolf genius myself, I know that nothing means anything when people start dropping names. Cast suspicion on your teammates if it makes sense to the game, whatever. Even if you enable the death of your teammate, you come out smelling like roses if you're there casting stones from the start. For the greater bad, and all that. All the better if you risk self-incrimination by listing of ways to find out who the wolf is, reminding people of the logic to use in the hunt. So yeah. Nothing means anything, because we all know the game. And no, I'm not doing that thing where politicians cast doubt on everything until people don't know how to form conclusions anymore (Scottish Referendum).

What I'm saying, in my self-indulgent way, is that BigDong is not free from judgement. I'm usually suspicious of people who assume leadership roles in-game by putting themselves on a pedestal as fountains of information and deliberation.

That said, I'm still most suspicious of Pheo, until he answers Ganny.

(I should reiterate that, while I'm not saying "Dong is a tad suspicious because he acts so sure he can't be", I am saying that)
