it's been a while so I figured that I'd give an update. A month ago I was put back on physical therapy after my progress assessment determined that my walking has improved. since then I have been transitioning from the Walker to a cane. well first we used two canes then took one away and I've been using one for the past couple weeks. once I get more stable with the cane we will try stairs. once I master stairs I can finally go home.
 
if all goes well I'll be home by Spring. fingers crossed.

Hand study I did today in class kind of upped my confidence in straight up pencil drawing. Looking at it again now, I'm totally not worried about my progress.

Cats are super overrated. Like, hello, DOGS exist. Cats are pissy little turds that only come to you when they want something from you. They're assholes. DOGS on the other hand love attention all the time and are always friendly 

I am so strongly repulsed by cats that it overrides the logical part of me which says that, really, they're okay. I just don't like cats. I don't understand how people can coexist with them. They scratch people for fun and obviously don't want to be kept in the company of people. Like, they do a good job of making me want to set them free, and I think that's why they're so hideously terrible.

It's a online "board" game where the goal is to (by default) take control of 50% of the stars in the galaxy. This is done by creating ships, then fleets and sending them off to claim stars which are either unclaimed or claimed by another player via combat. Everything is real time so it can take 10 hours for your fleet to make it to a star.
You can upgrade your economy, industry and science of each star you have control over. Economy will gain you more money each day, Industry will build ships faster and Science will research technology faster.
Anyone interested in giving this a go? If real time feels too slow we can always change it to a faster speed, though we'll need to start over I believe.

I feel compelled to reveal now that I, too, am a gigantic puppying racist. Hate me all you want, but I cannot be ashamed - for I was born like this. As a racist. Whoever runs Sonic's Twitter page is totally on the ball. If only the people who made the games were so in tune.

Pretty much Sonic, now that I think of it. Like, if you were to roleplay as Sonic the Hedgehog on Twitter, this is how I would imagine you'd do it.
