puppy this whole section I don't have a favorite anything

    Literature

    Favourite Author: none
Favourite Book: I dunno, I don't read as much as I used to. I guess I enjoyed Catch 22.
Favourite Series: The only series I ever read was Eragon, and I didn't even finish it.
Favourite Poet: I don't got one.
    Favourite Poem: Invictus! Read it.
Favourite Play: I've only seen two musicals I'm glad I've seen; monty python's the holy grail and the lion king.
Favourite Comic (incl. manga/webcomics/graphic novels): Well when you break it down like that, I don't have a favorite one of these either.

    Film/TV

Favourite Live-Action Film: Shit man, If it wasn't "There Will be Blood" or "Inception," It'd probably be "The Vanishing." The 1993 American remake was the version I saw with Sandra Bullock, not the original. I didn't mind it as much as the critics did I guess, but I didn't see the original first so.
Favourite Director: Not sure I have one I guess. Chrisopher Nolan is the only name I can think of.
Favourite Animated Film: Jeez, lots of these come to mind. Redline and SkyCrawlers both instantly come to mind, but if there's anything I can confidently say has been a big influence on me, I'd say "Thief and the Cobbler." The Honest Recobbled Cut, not the version that was released in cereal boxes. A new version of the cut is coming out soon, with new material! Hurray!
Favourite Animated Series: Shit man I really have no idea. Berserk, whynot. I know I'm missing a lot by just giving that answer though.
Favourite Live-Action Series: The Office, or 30 Rock. I stopped watching both of those years ago, but I still laugh at them when they're on. Recently, however, I discovered FireFly thanks to xkcd. It's not bad!
Favourite MUSICAL: WE'VE BEEN OVER THIS GET THE puppy OUT

    Gaming

Favourite Game: The games I've sunk the most time into are TF2, Runescape, and Super Smash Bros Melee. Outside of that, Probably Pikmin 2, LOZ: Windwaker, Dark Souls and so on and so forth.
Favourite Game Series: I follow Gears of War pretty religiously.
Favourite Game Studio/Developer: Ho man, I'm not picking.
Favourite Board/Card Game: Scrabble? If not like Mousetrap.

    Miscellaneous

    Favourite Colour: Brown!
Favourite City: Paris. I'm not much for cities, but Paris.
Favourite Country: the puppy kind of question is this oh is this LL's questions now
Favourite Food: ANYTHING THAT USED TO BREATHE
Favourite Drink: Milk or cold water go with everything. But if I'm indulging myself, Coca Cola.
Favourite Animal: Lol Bears. Or anything exotic that I look at and say to myself "Yeah, I wanna draw that."
    Favourite Season: Autumn, or Winter.
    Favourite Language: American
Favourite Clothes: Jeans and a Tshirt/Longsleeve shirt
Favourite Type of Holiday: The kind where I don't have to work and food is cooked for me.
    Favourite Subject: Art

Well AC3 has a completely revamped combat system, where certain attacks can and will be countered by certain enemies. Plus with the amount of soldiers with guns rather than swords you will have to find cover, lest you be torn to bits by a line of musket fire. Also health will slowly regenerate, but only outside of combat.

Recently comic writer and creator Mark Millar was hired by 20th Century Fox to be a Consultant on their Marvel film Franchises (X-Men, Fantastic Four). Millar says he wants the various studios to play nice and finally bring all the Marvel films into one reality. His wishes were very nearly granted this Summer when Sony allowed Marvel to use the CGI Oscorp Tower from Amazing Spider-Man in the Avengers but unfortunately the design of the Tower wasn't finalized until after Avengers was already "in the can". However Millar hopes that the Baxter building and Daily Bugle might be seen in future Avengers films.

"Drawing a reference of a guy for illustration class? Wait, do I really have to make his face the same when it's just a reference? No one's ever gonna see the reference image, right? I'll just slope is forehead a little, change up the haircut a bit, maybe mess with the neck fat, thicken that cleft, flex his chin, shade his philtrum oh shit its hitler oh shit oh squid i just drew hitler on my illustration assignment oh squidding hell i have to turn this in tomorrow and I just drew hitler what would freud say"

I got an A though so that's cool.

Had to do a celebrity caricature illustration. I was gonna do scatman john and use it as a spray in tf2 to spray whenever Ganny sprayed his, but then Ganny suggested doing a Tom Waits idea that I actually enjoyed the idea for, so I plagiarized it. I was not feeling motivated to work at all when this thing was due though, so I both did a shit job as you can see and turned it in late. I'm surprised I got a C. That probably happened because my teacher is a Tom Waits fan.

You saw this one if you read the Balderdash thread recently, though that was a shitty cellphone picture. We had to design a toy, and I took it as a thinly veiled opportunity to draw one of the character designs for Balderdash as a Figurine with accessories, or "detachables" as I like to call them. Can't remove the mask. Not intended to ever need to see her face. Man do I love using inkwash. Man do I need to improve my anatomy.

This one, though. This was my final project, and while I didn't get to finish it as much as I wanted to (Final three panels are pretty barren), I still did a pretty good job, I like to think. When I compare this one to my earlier works it makes me say "Yeah, I think I improved this semester." The story, if anything, suffers from too few panels, but that's because we were limited to one page to do this. I can see myself stretching this story thing out over at least five more pages. I talked to Kaffles, who is a sequential arts major, about her looking at pages i throw together for a short story using this wordless thing. I'd like to do a compilation of short stories in comic form over the summer, but we'll have to see if that ends up taking priority over Balderdash's production or not. Et Cetera. I keep thinking LL will like the art for this single page story thing here. Also I got an A+ on this thing from a teacher who won an Eisner award, so that's a confidence boost.

    So here's the finished product:

This piece has an actual theme, so if you can pick up on what I'm talking about just by looking at it, then I've succeeded. Also, this is in a 4x16 space, because that was the requirement, so I had to get all the detail with a size 1 micron pen. Lots of drawing. The teacher liked it a lot more than my previous one. I feel like Thomas Kinkade.

The sad thing about being restricted to four inches is that when I finished this I really wanted to keep going, pushing to the left and to the right of this thing. I got really into it. I wanted to go panoramic on it's ass.

I was visiting my friend at his work last night. One of his employees said my name was stupid. So he (my friend) told me to buy something, get a receipt and fill out the customer service thing online. Give her a HORRIBLE review. Apparently these things go straight to the owner of Panera, since it's happened to my friend before (he is a manager). Hopefully she'll get fired. My friend said i'd be doing him a favor. Also i'm gonna follower her (in secret) to her next 3 jobs and try to get her fired from those too.

This isn't a question but yesterday I was scoping out my mom's wine cupboard back home and there was a bottle from Paso Robles, CA.

Made me think of you :>

so i moved into a triple room a while back, and it turns out, my one roommate is graduating this semester, and my other roommate just withdrew from school today. basically, after this semester, im going to have this triple to myself, provided no one wants to move in.

if only i got an email about my stupid chest binders already, this would be one of my best days in a while.

So I just had a conversation on Google+ where my friend was denouncing dubstep.

It ended with an argument over what the best kind of cheese is.

    What.

    There once was a Demo
    His name, Pheonix561
    He took so many heads

    His Eyelander, great
    A mighty, powerful foe
    Difficult to best

    I died like 6 times
    No bullets, rockets, nor bombs
    Could end this killing spree

    A lonely Pyro
    With his flame-spewing gun afire
    Stopped his tyranny

It just sounds great. My friend told me about this time he (or it might have been something he read) watched his dwarves fighting a giant or something, and the giant knocked one of the dwarves out of his shoes, and then picked up the shoes, and started fighting the dwarves with the shoes, allowing them to win since shoes are apparently bad as weapons.
