    Homestuck updated for a few hours. The update was taken down. The servers instantly stopped crashing.

     

    I didn't get to see whatever the(probably joking) update was, and I'm sad.

    Progress! I'm not over it at all, and I feel kinda hyper-aware and it's kinda scary, but I am happy again. So there's that :>

     Hopefully you'll one day learn too that the fact that everything you know and love will be dust in space one day is no reason to not enjoy yourself today.

    Yeah, I'm not letting it get in the way of most things right now. And I gotta admit - the idea of being space dust is pretty damn cool.

    Something I've been thinking about frequently, lately. I dunno why - unfortunately, it's just been on my mind a lot.

     

    I don't want life to be finite. I keep thinking about the fact that it's going to happen - that I only have one life, that I can't change time, or anything like that. It scares the fuck out of me.

     

    I'm just really shaken up right now and I gotta get it off my chest. Might as well open this up for discussion.

     

    Advice? Your thoughts on death? Any problems with the concept?

    Oh cool, you figured out your computer situation?

    Actually, my dad got a new gaming laptop, and i've been playing on that one :>

     

    It's really nice! The Alienware 14.

    Transistor and Bastion both look really neat, but i hate playing "Diablo" styled games. By which i mean, games with an aerial view that require use of both your keyboard and mouse to move/aim/attack. To be honest, i dont like using my mouse too much in any game, unless im messing with some menus or inventory or whatever.

    That's pretty understandable. I'm usually a bit annoyed with it too. I only kinda like it because I got so used to first-person gaming that I feel like I should always be using the mouse in some capacity.

    Recently I've been playing Transistor, which is a game in a rather similar style to Bastion, which the creators of Transistor also made. So far it's been really fun! The art is really pretty, too.

    The only person I've actually played with here was Pheo, like one time. 

     

    I was in a game a few years ago with Muffin and Saha but my laptop was crapping out and I couldn't play at all

     

    But yeah, we should totes do that soon

    I usually separate my opinion of a work entirely from my opinion on a person involved with it. Hell, I often ignore the people involved entirely, except just to say "this person is a good singer/writer/artist/actor/what have you". I value more the art than the artists, I guess.

    My phone screen cracked. It's still operable and doesn't hurt to use, or anything, but it sure is broken.

     

    I can't get a picture, but at least the shatter pattern is pretty.
