I had a particularly rough day at work. Yesterday was bad too. I'm not sure if it's like a hormone thing but I was pretty upset by the time I got home both days.

I feel overworked and underpaid and frustrated. I can never leave work without feeling like I've finished my tasks for the day. There's always SOMETHING to do. And it's always time sensitive. When I get to school in the morning, I'm flustered. I get to work an hour early (I don't have a planning period) and I leave usually an hour or an hour and a half later than when I should leave.

I'm puppying tired, too. I sleep okay now (had some problems staying asleep at first) but I don't get enough of it. I'm at work for twice as long as I sleep.

Today I went shopping for myself, for clothes, for the first time in a few months. I was disgusted at the weight I've put on. I look awful, too, I've got terrible circles under my eyes and I look pale. I couldn't bring myself to buy clothes because I felt so guilty at the state I'm in and so terrible.

Then I called Dylan and cried on the phone because it's only Tuesday and I'm over this week already.

MY hair's frozen a few times. Pretty crazy. I'm always reminded of that Jimmy Neutron episode where the mom broke a piece of her hair off

What are you talking about? I didn't go on a date. Brian told me off about how bad of a person I was and left me. To think he was my "friend" for 4+ years because of this site. puppy him.

After all I did for him too. Seriously, puppy him.

I was looking around Wal-Mart today for a new pair of X12s, because my dog tore mine to shreds. I was browsing the gaming headphones when a guy came up and said, "Hey, do you know if they sell internet here?"

I was really caught off guard at first, but then I thought about it and told him, "You're gonna have to tell me what exactly you need." So he starts talking about how his phone bill is too high and that he'd rather pay for wireless internet and just have a no-contract phone. So I explained to him that Wal-Mart does not sell internet, that he'd have to get with his cable provider about that. So he thanks me, and walks off. Not a big deal.

About two minutes later, I pass this same guy checking out laptops. He calls out to me, and says, "Do you know if this is a good computer? Can you help me with this? What makes a computer good? My daughter's laptop just broke, and she likes to just play games on it." So I explain the importance of the processor's speed for gaming, and look at the one he's pointing at. It's a Chromebook. I tell him no. I ask him what kind of games does she play, just simple facebook games, or more intense games? He tells me it's just browser games, and so I tell him that really pretty much any windows computer (Or even Mac) would be alright for that. So he scans the prices of the computers and asks "What about this one?"
I look it over, google the specs, see that it's got decent capabilities. I tell him so, and he thanks me again for helping him out.

Three minutes later, I'm walking past a guy staring at some TVs, looking lost while trying to get some help from an employee, who have all vanished. A woman walks out of the back area and asks if he needs help, he says he needs someone in electronics. She says to check the desk and he says he has, nobody was there. She says she'll page someone, and he starts walking around some more. I'm checking out PC headsets now, he's standing about six feet away staring at the TVs, looking upset. He turns around, looks at me for a second, and says, "Hey, would you happen to know much about electronics?" And I was thinking "Oh man, here we go again."
So I say, "Yeah man, mostly, what's up?"  He shakes my hand after I agree to help, and introduces himself. He explains how it's a hassle to hook up all of his stuff to his projector, that he has a bunch of different things (Wii, xbox/ps3) that he has to constantly switch the cords for. He was looking for a way to split all the wires into one. He wanted a converter for HDMI into composite. I thought about it for a second, and remember that I've tried to figure out how to do the exact same thing with no luck, because they send their signals differently.

I try explaining this to him, and he starts talking about splicing the cables together, and I think to myself "That's not better." So then I think about it, and have him explain the whole projector thing to me again. I remembered a thing that would allow multiple inputs to one output, but I couldn't remember at all what it was called. I tried explaining it to him, and it just came to me. An A/V Switch. We looked around, but they only had one that was only composite. I explained that one that converted HDMI would probably be pretty costly, but that he should definitely check Radio Shack. He thanks me profusely, as he's been trying to work this out for like 4 days, and I've helped him (maybe)solve it in about 15 minutes. We'd done a lot of small talk, as well, he seemed like a pretty cool guy. I tell him it was no problem.
I resume looking at the headsets as he walks off, then see him turn around. He looks at me and says, "I don't want you to be upset, I ask this to everyone I like. You're a really cool guy, and I'd like to hear your opinion on the subject." I'm thinking, "Alright, what's this guy talking about?"

He says, "How much are you into Jesus Christ?" Oh gosh. Please no, not here, I was really liking you, man. Don't do this. So I look at him and say "I'm actually not religious." He says, "So like, agnostic?" I explain that I just don't have a religion, and he says "But what if it's real? What if, on the day you die, you have a chance of going to heaven? Are you willing to take the chance of going to hell? I really don't want to see you end up there. You're a cool guy."
He keeps talking about how I need to start worshiping God and stuff. I can deal with this, no problem. Most of my family (Like 95%) are Christian, I'm used to it. I'm polite, and agreeing with him just so he'll shut up and leave. Then he talks about how, "All these new religions are false," like Islam. Then he starts slandering Muhammad, calling him a child molester. I just nod my head and hope he goes away quickly. He ends with "I really don't want you to go to hell, man. Really, please, just take a look at the Bible, maybe it'll change the way you think. I'll be praying for you." And he walks off.

I see him at least 3 more times in the store as I'm just trying to walk out. He smiles and says hey. Once he was pushing his cart to the back, and says "Can't believe it, I forgot something." I grin at him and say "Every time." He laughs and continues. I walk out of the store, decide I want some Sonic, grab some Lil Chickies and leave. As I'm leaving, to get back onto the main road (Perpendicular to Walmart), I turn too hard and almost hit a curb. So I swerve a little bit and almost hit someone's car as they're driving past. I keep going and when we get to the roundabout, I look to see who all was in the car. It was the Jesus guy! Luckily he was engrossed with his phone call and I guess didn't notice me almost ramming him. He drove off without looking at me, and I laughed about it the whole way home.

Later mom and I had a G+ Hangouts call with a couple of my cousins, one of which is from Germany, so that was nice.

    What an interesting day.

Pending Jared's hopeful follow-thru, I'll relate some of my own life, since I've been doing very little of that lately.

So I sleep from 12pm to 8pm and right now I'm just trying to make it to my sleeptime, because it's a really easy to disturb schedule. The reason is that my job has me working really early hours, and in order to still partake in the night life, I have to be awake between 8pm and 4am; this is my ideal work schedule considering the night life.

Uh. idk I'm just pretty sure I haven't mentioned that to you guys generally so there you go, it's a tidbit about my life. I recently went out to a rave with some friends and I was hit on by four separate men. In order to keep my face concealed during high-intensity public scenarios like dance raves, or while DJing, or really just any situation where there are people, I wear a mask.

(left to right, a friend of mine named Brittney, some random foreign guy she knows, and myself) bonus image

The first guy to hit on me thought my mask was neat and wanted to wear it. I reluctantly agreed though I knew our heads were different sizes and the mask's ribbon was tied too tightly to patiently undo and retie, especially in a dark room with a high-energy crowd. After I took the mask off he said "Wow, I thought you'd be ugly without the mask, but you're gorgeous." I didn't quite catch it so he said "I thought you'd be some ugly bitch, but it turns out you're beautiful." and I said "Thanks, but I'm a guy." and he shrugged and said "Don't matter." After that he was really aggressively nuzzling the side of my face with his own face and talked in a seductive manner about ordinary things like having me help him tie the mask and lending me his light-up gloves. I talked normally as if he wasn't nuzzling my face because I just thought it was funny and my friends were nearby so I was secure. I told him I couldn't undo the ribbon so he said it was fine and I walked off trying to find where my friends had suddenly gone when I turned away from them.

Turns out they were at the bar, so I told them about it and my friend Matt said the guy was probably on drugs, saying they "transcended gender barriers". I was thinking nah, the guy was probably bi or something. While waiting for Matt to stop talking to some guy next to him about something, a guy to my right compliments my mask. I say thanks, and we have a small conversation about it. The guy asks to buy me a beer, and I said, "Hey sorry, you know I'm a guy right?" and he shrugs a little disheartened but still offers to get me a beer, and I said something along the effect of "I don't really like beer, but thank you for the offer." I feel like a dick when I turn down beer from what LITERAL URINE it is but them's the brakes. I feel it's appropriate to mention that my mom has been texting me near the weekends to avoid accepting drinks from strangers, to not leave my drinks around uncovered, and to only get water in bottles because she's had things slipped in her drinks twice before, which was quite a bomb to drop on me randomly. But I was like yeah. I had to drive myself anyway, so I wasn't about to drink more than a few sips of whatever. I feel like drinking without the intent to get drunk is totally pointless. It's like drinking piss on a dare. Since alcohol is disgusting.

Anyway so the third guy was a bigger guy (not buff just big) and he practically surfaces out of the crowd like a shark, undetected up until that point, to walk directly to me and tell me "You're fucking beautiful." I say "Thanks... you too!" and I think the tone of my voice wasn't feminine enough because he got this somewhat disheartened look on his face and slunk back into the crowd never to be seen again after that. I find my voice can be somewhat gender neutral at times, depending on my mood and environment, but this guy rolled well on his perception check I guess.

Fourth guy was a stout person who was dancing nearby to me and he said something like "Why are you wearing a mask?" and I said something like "I just like to." and without many more words he started actively dancing with me. I just rolled with it. A somewhat buff, bald, tall-looking guy came in with an incredulous smirk on his face and started talking to the stout guy; I am pretty sure he was telling him that I'm not a girl. But stout guy didn't seem to get it and didn't stop dancing with me. I was watching Brittney's bag so I turned my head occasionally to check Matt/Brittney/her bag's position, but when turning my head once they weren't anywhere near me so I took a little bit longer to locate them in the crowd, and when I turned my head back the stout guy was gone. I shrugged and kept dancing, but at some point stout guy came back and again danced with me. I fist bumped him and kept dancing, when tall guy came back probably reiterating my sex to him, then practically dragged him away. It was silly.

Among these stories, I've DJ'd at a local bar (a bit of trivia, it's on South Grand, one of the streets ravaged by the Ferguson riots) a couple times now. I was recently listening to the bartender's conversation with another customer after I played a set, and he said he was roofied at a club recently. What I didn't know, is that being roofied apparently affects you literal weeks afterwards, so he was still recovering during Thanksgiving. Some asshole was trying to put it in some girl's drink but he took the hit. I told him that even though I don't understand what being roofied is like, I would at least take solace in the fact that he took the hit for someone who might have had a much worse night and subsequent weeks. Just the thought made me wish I could punch the perpetrator right in his stupid face.

The customer he was talking to was an aspiring vocalist/DJ who likewise shares a passion for electronic music who was very inquisitive of how I came to DJ there (even though it's an easy to enter establishment and I'd only DJ'd there twice lol) and I brought up that I make music, and she asked if I have any vocals in my work, which sounded very much like an offer for her talents. I'm somewhat hoping that this turns out to be a valuable connection, and I'm looking forward to where it might go.

As a tangent of the point about my dislike of the taste of alcohol, I've gotten drunk a few times now, starting with a playthrough of the Dark Souls drinking game. I spent my first night drunk complaining to my friends about how people could possibly think driving in that state is a good idea. I'm surprisingly cognizant while drunk, and I only let go of a little more inhibition than normal. The major change is that I'm really wobbly. I lose a lot of motor control, but nothing too drastic. I recently got drunk at a friend's garage party and literally danced as hard I could in the most ridiculous ways I could think of. I was self-challenging to flail and gyrate as much as physically possible for a sustained amount of time. I ended up dancing straight like this for about four hours before my body started overheating and I had to collapse every once in awhile to do what I felt was literally blowing off steam, as I would often forcefully exhale steady breaths to get rid of body heat. According to my friends, despite how exaggerated my motions were ("Allen burns like 100 calories per minute over there") they said it didn't look out of the ordinary for rave dancing, other than my surprising stamina. One of our other friends was DJing with Top40 songs from the past five years, but I guess I was too drunk to care. I just wanted to dance, and it was fun, and we danced, and it was a good night.

But yeah alcohol is gross. My friends were offering me mixed drinks and I was like "Look. I don't care. It's going to be gross no matter what you do to it. The point is that here's drunk, and here's me. I need to get to drunk as fast as possible or there's no point in drinking the stuff." I would imagine drinking without the intent to get drunk is like drinking cough syrup without any of the benefits of cough syrup. So I don't really drink unless it's in very specific, private, safe circumstances.

I feel good about getting these delinquent experiences under my belt. I think I'd like to delve deeper into the delinquent experience.
