If she breathes through her skin, and she's entirely on fire, wouldn't that suffocate her too? I mean, fire eats up oxygen and its consuming every inch of her skin, so her skin has no way to breathe, right? Does she suffocate in this scene?

I don't think this changes the amount of skin required to be showing though

Okay but couldn't she just, you know, wear clothes that breathe? I mean if I put a shirt over my head its not like I'm going to suffocate. Cloth isn't air tight. And sure maybe it might be a bit more difficult to breathe if it were conventional clothing, but why not just get something designed to be breathed through? I'm completely confident there exists fabrics which someone can put there mouth against and breath through and be fine. She's not even wearing underarmor, she's in fishnets and a bikini. It's putting sexualization in front of everything else.
I mean when you get characters like that fury guy who are weird and confusing, at least it's because they're weird and confusing for the sake of being weird and confusing. This isn't confusing at all, it's completely clear they were letting their boners do the drawing.

yeah i am pretty sure they just made her into the ideal woman for otaku. She just sits there being sexy and doesn't talk ever
and yeah I know about the breathing through her skin thing. But if that were the case, why cover up her legs? and why does she need so much skin showing? We don't have a wind pipe the size of our bodies, so naturally she shouldn't need so much skin showing to get the same effect. There are a lot of things wrong with it, when they clearly could have just pulled out the "clothes are restrictive" excuse and it would have felt way less scummy and pervy as it is right now

Wanna know who else had photosynthetic skin?

I think this makes my point pretty nicely

Rewatched Monsters University, and still hold that I prefer it over the original Monsters Inc., if only because I relate to it so much. It came out the summer after I dropped out of university, so it big time resonated when I watched it. Such a hopeful message.

I would totally go to the cat cafe with you anytime if you're looking for people to go with! It sounds like they'd have a ton of rules about how to interact with the cats but it wasn't too strict, just take off shoes/wear blue protective bags over shoes when inside the cafe and don't lift up the cats. That was it. Otherwise get tea and cakes and just walk around the place bugging whatever cat you could find. The staff were really friendly and chatty and laidback as well. One of the most relaxing/stress-free places I've ever been in. Overall defs would recommend and would go with anyone who asked me lmao.
I am definitely a cat person moreso than a dog person tho. Dogs are cute and sweet and lovable as well, but they are way more work to deal with. Not in a bad way, but just so much that I could never have one with my lifestyle and give it the proper care it deserved. Cats are more chill. And anyways "Cats are pissy little turds that only come to you when they want something from you." is pretty much me anyways lol so we're basically a perfect match. No problems with that here.

Locking this thread because we've had this exact discussion a million times, we all know each other's viewpoints on this issue. It's just not worth the effort or time anymore. But next time you have this "debate" anywhere, Lethe Albion, try being more sensitive and not get huffy and whiny when people don't respond kindly to your negative opinion of them/their group. And don't just hide behind the tired old "it's just my opinion" statement whenever facing opposition to your views. You're entitled to your opinion, sure, but others are also entitled to disagree with you and be upset with you because of it. It goes both ways.
(P.S. Using "SJW", social justice warrior, social justice, etc as a term to discredit/put down people who aren't conservative's viewpoints is a total cop-out of an argument, very indicative of your personality/attitude towards these issues, and so goddamn tired. It really does invalidate your entire point IMO. The internet needs to shut up with it.)

Posting in a locked topic, but I believe it's important to express exactly where and why this argument is flawed. Telling someone that they're a douchebag for holding to values and principles they believe to be right isn't going to change their mind.

Sexuality isn't the right word here (the bolded), despite the term for the actual preference of partner being homosexuality, because it incorrectly suggests that sexual intercourse needs to be involved in the discussion. To be homosexual is to be attracted to people of the same sex as you, whether that's for love or sexual intercourse or physical intimacy or a combination thereof. Any argument about sex or the "purpose" of sex ignores the much simpler fundamental human truth that people cannot and do not choose their feelings or emotions.

Of course, the argument of "it's not the societal norm and therefore I can't condone it" is inherently vapid and suggests a basic inability to think in anyone who utters it, but you can have the benefit of the doubt from me regardless.

Im sensing some drama coming on so let me just say that you shouldn't worry about what other people do, and who they do it with, unless they go out of their way to make you involved with it. You yourself are not gay, and thats fine. No one here is judging you for your life choices. To sum all this up, a Mr. Commander Badass once said "It doesn't matter what's in someone's pants unless you are planning to get inside of those pants."

So in an attempt to diffuse this, Lethe, a lot of what you said (just now) can easily be taken as offensive to  lot of people, sexual preference notwithstanding. People are people, and you should not obsess over people's genitals. I don't think you would be comfortable if everyone at your family dinner table just started talking about your penis and where you have been putting it, and its the same situation here.

We cool? Because regardless I think this thread needs to be locked because we are not opening this can of penises again

There are plenty of gay people who find anal sex unpleasant, or don't engage in it for various personal reasons. Being born gay leaves you minus one option for intimacy with your partner, you know? Which is unfortunate for those who don't indulge, although most of those who don't still find contentment with their level of intimacy with their partner(s).
    Personally I add options daily.

No he didn't. He wasn't involved in any part of the making of them. The only connection those three films have is that they're all 3D stop motion animated films produced by Laika the company.
