    Reading bug fixes for Dwarf Fortress makes me want to try it out. "stopped zombie cats from adopting dwarves" what?

      Friend of mine plays DF, I think once he told me about a story where dwarves were fighting a giant, and the giant knocked a dwarf out of their shoes. The giant proceeded to pick up the dwarf's shoes and fight the other dwarves with the shoes. The shoes were so weak that it allowed the dwarves to kill the giant.
