More Mario Kart 8 DLC that I didn’t even know I needed! <3
Pack 1 contains- Link, Cat-Suit Peach, Tanooki-Suit Mario, 4 vehicles and 8 tracks!!
Pack 2 contains- VIllager and Isabelle from Animal Crossing (!!!), Dry Bowser, and again, 4 vehicles and 8 tracks!!

As you guys have probably noticed, I really don't like the direction that Disney is taking the Marvel Animated Universe. It's cool that all the current shows on Disney XD share the same Universe, and often crossover, but the subject matter is way too *kid friendly* and too far away from canon as well. Very disappointing. But Ultimate Spider-Man (cartoon) is doing a "Spider-Verse" arc called "Web Warriors" to coincide with the Spider-Verse comic arc/mini-series coming up. And guess who they got to voice Miles Morales' cartoon self?

And if you don't know why that's puppying fantastic, lemme esplain it to you-
First of all, Glover, in part, inspired MIles Morales' creation in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics. He's a HUGE Spider-Man fanatic, and started a twitter campaign to play Spider-Man in the recent movie reboots. Obviously, he didn't get the part, but he had some really insightful reasons why he, or any person of color, could and should play Spider-Man (or any Super Hero, but specifically Spider-Man) Two reasons I really found mind blowing (as a white guy who never even thought about the issue before) Is that, 1- Anyone can be Spider-Man. Spider-Man wears a full body costume, showing no skin. He could even be mistaken for a female, to be honest. This is a reason why the character is so popular, especially among minorities- he's easy to self-insert yourself into. You can read a Spider-Man comic, and during the action scenes his race not only doesn't matter, it doesn't exist. How great! And 2- Is it really so hard to imagine a Black Peter Parker? Like, a black kid from the Bronx who likes science and photography and lives with his Aunt? Are ANY of those qualities race exclusive?? Peter Parker could be Black, or Hispanic, or Asian, or even a Girl and the story would be exactly the same. puppy, you could even have him be gay and have Mary Jane be a guy (with a hopefully new name lol) and it would NOT change the story at all. 
 
I'm really happy for Glover. This isn't the answer to the problems we seem with the MCU (or even the DC movies) concerning race/gender/minorities, but it's at least Marvel acknowledging Donald Glover and the people he's representing. And that's a great start!

Oh cool, dude. I bought Uzamaki a while ago. I mostly bought it because the cover was cool. I haven't read any of it yet. Edit: I asked if it was good because I didn't see Phanta was the one who brought it up.

Understanding comics is really eye-opening. His book Making Comics is even better. It helped me better understand and appreciate movies and literature and narratives in general.

I've read Gyo, and I'm currently reading Uzamaki. Also read Understanding Comics for a class about comic books. Very enlightening read.

I read that Universal is trying to get in on the extended universe movie franchise, but they only own the rights to Marvel's Namor (an excellent character by the way) so they are doing a Classic Monster Universe starting with yet another Mummy reboot. I'm not too excited to see another Mummy reboot, but I'll deff stay tuned for Wolfman/Creature from the Black Lagoon/Frankenstein/Invisible Man/etc crossovers. Will they be allies? Enemies? Who will they be fighting? Will there be teams? I'm excited. I just hope they don't take it very seriously, that would kill it for me.

And that sounds cool, Phanta. Serious versions of them, or versions that try to be "THE definitive" version will probably lack creativity and inspiration.

I feel like the MCU is doing something that hasn't been done before in cinema. That is, they're creating a series of films that are all linked and part of a greater story, but aren't direct sequels but are rather concurrent with each other. At least for the first round, you didn't need to watch any of the other films to understand the rest of them, and then they all collided into The Avengers.
 
I'm not even a big fan of the MCU, I'm ambivalent at best to the films. But I admire their scope, for sure.

This is incredible. They must be deep cover social justice warriors, because they just completely invalidated the entire mens rights and gaming culture fanatics, in the eyes of everyone.

Minecraft is also really badly optimized.

This video was by social justice warriors themselves!! They are double agents who are purposefully creating and then sabotaging an enemy so that they can look reasonable!! You guys have no idea how deep this rabbit hole goes.

Sorry for the low res picture, my camera sucks. I got this little bad boy in the mail today. This is a Meloetta distribution cartridge used to give away meloetta last year at gamestop. Once I figure out the game side of things(which cartridge I can restart) I can infinitly spawn meloetta. Stay tuned.
