So I finally took some pictures of my classroom yesterday...my class is in a trailer, so unfortunately I have to deal with the shittiness of having a lot of kids in one tiny little space with little mobility. It kind of sucks sometimes, but also has its perks
 
First picture is my workspace, my desk. I blacked out the letters on the wall with my last name because eh, don't want to risk anything. I've decorated quite a bit so it feels like home
 
Second pic is if you were to first walk into my room, so that's the back wall. My bulletin board is empty for the time being, but I have some old student work on my walls so it's not completely bare. That huge map in the back is actually a shower curtain from bed bath and beyond that I hung up lol
 
And last picture is if you were to look at my room from the basically my desk, more so from the corner. I have a nice chair and I'm gonna get a podium soon, but there's my huge whiteboard and all that good stuff. The black cart object thing on the right is a media cart. It has a projector and some speakers and a dvd player. I use it like everyday so ya. It's also wired to my laptop so I can display shit from my computer.

The legitimacy doesn't really matter. But the Duck and Dog look appealing. You can't argue about that. Dr. Mario and uh.. "Dark Pit" are terrible choices for a fake "leak". The stage selection page is really amateurish, too. Also Ganondorf is really dark, probably to hide that he was just taken from Brawl/Twilight Princess' design. 
 
I really want Paper Mario to be here. If the Duck Hunt guys were included and looked like this, I would play with them so hard.

I feel like the roster is less varied than it was. It's a generalization, but I feel like they're going with like "cool" characters. Or characters that 13-year-olds think are cool. There are a bunch of "tight" Pokémon and a bunch of sword guys. Maybe just my imagination. I feel like Jigglypuff and Ice Climbers being left out so far means that the roster is lacking in cuteness

Nah man, they'll keep adding more and more Kirby characters as the series goes on. One day literally half the roster will be Kirby characters, both major and minor. It's gonna happen just accept the reality Knuckle...
 
really though since they are biased towards Kirby, I totally thought of a neat idea for one of the Assist Trophies from the series (they are still in this one right). The painter girl from the N64 game, uh, Adelaide? Something like that? Double can correct me if he checks this thread. She had a cool gimmick of being able to paint anything and have it come to life, and gimmicks are the lifeblood of Smash Bros! SO. it'd totally fit in. it'd be random whatever she painted like, any of the items, hordes of dumb kirby monsters that attack you. etc etc. It'd be cool is what I'm saying.
 
Also, returning characters I'd care to see return: Jigglypuff, Ice Climbers, ROB. Maybe Ness/Lucas (not both though, if they're just going to be clones again) as well I guess Mother needs someone there to quell it's loud fans... I feel like if they brought Ganondorf back they'd probably manage to make him even worse than before, somehow. Other than those three though I wouldn't really be that miffed if none of the remaining "legacy characters" made a re-appearance. The current roster is pretty varied anyways.

You really shouldnt wait. Its such a good movie. Youre missing out if you dont see it on the big screen. (Though im sure it'll still be nice on a home tv)

Saw Guardian's of the Galaxy with Saha and Kaffles. It was great. Especially Rocket and Groot

I watched Guardians of the Galaxy with Kaffles and T1g. Probably the most worth-it comic book film in recent memory. I actually both feel justified in having spent ten dollars on seeing it and sitting through it in its entirety.

So trying to drum up content and new users, right? Well here is an idea from me. I say we should bring back anime nights, but with a spin.
 
Instead of having random nights where we show a random series or movie, we could have an organized, scheduled "blocks" showing the same show every week at the same time (but, like the next episode and stuff) followed by a different show on the schedule. Like this:
 
Friday Nights would be 3 hours (roughly 6 shows) of whatever new series are playing you guys like. (psychopass, uh, puppy i dont really keep up on the anime thread but you know wut I mean.) Or just newer series in general, like Durarara!! might be neat.
 
Saturday Nights (hosted by me) would show older dubbed anime. I'd call it "Throw Back Friday" lol. Here is my tentative line up, so you have an idea:
 
Monster Hour:
Pokemon (Seasons 1-whatever)
Digimon Adventure (Season 1, maybe more)
Action Hour:
Dragon Ball (maybe Z after that is done, not sure)
One Piece
Robot Hour:
Medabots
Gundam (can someone recommend a series from it?)
 
Then to wrap up the weekend, Sunday Nights would show an anime movie, new or older. Maybe 2 since animated movies tend to be shorter than live-action flicks.
 
We would have a Hyrule.Net channel on Justin.tv or some other streaming site, and the people hosting would share the account. I think this could be a great community effort and could attract new users. Also It'd be fun!
 
What do you guys think? Any hosting volunteers? Any show/movie suggestions?
