It's half empty. Mainly due to the fact that it can only be half full if you someone just poured water in the cup and stopped. Then it's half full, but if it's just there, and someone drank out of it, it's half empty.

It's just a matter of how you interpret it. If its only got water halfway filled/emptied, then it's half. At that moment in time, is it half-empty or half-full? It doesn't matter what anyone did to it before or after you saw it.

Im an optimist. It's half-full. That's just how I say it, too. Any lower, and it's "Almost empty," anywhere higher, and it's "A bit more than a half."

But that's just me. Im a weirdo.
