Well I know everyones play "Link To The Past" have you noticed that Links uncle gives him his sword and say's "Zelda is your..."

I always thought it was Zelda is your wife what do you guys think?

hmm... I'd say "responsibility" or something to that effect. I don't see how any actual relation could be made between them without more evidence, and I'd hazard to say it's effectively impossible that Zelda is Link's wife.

Anyone have a translation of the original Japanese quote?

Anyway, i always thought that they were brother and sister. (Which doesnt work in the Adventure of Link, because they kissed. Then again, the curtains closed, so it could have been a hug.)

I personally thought it to be stupid when people have told me that they THOUGHT he was referring to Zelda as Link's "wife", (No offense)... What I honestly believe though is, that he was saying "Zelda is your...:"

1. Destiny

2. Responsibility

3. Salvation (That was my main one)

And then for some witty responses...

I was always thinking they were trying to do a Star Wars, "Zelda is your sister". Could make sense, we don't know that much about this Link (why he lives with his uncle for example).

And then at the end Ganon would say: "Link, I am your father"
