Heh, I know from personal experience that coming up with an idea is a lot easier than doing actual work on it.

So do I... But wouldn't you call the random idea and development stage work too? |D I don't think that's ever a stage you should just abandon, y'know? Just doing stuff, it inspires you. Every now and then, small ideas pop into your head. o: Happens to me a lot. For srs, I just came up with at least 3 epic scenarios for my nonexistant manga series.
