Luke Benson: The Bounder

A black Lincoln Town car pulled up to the massive gates of Rothmore Mental Hospital, a crumbling brick structure sitting atop a hill. A quick buzz of the intercom was all it took to open the doors.

Moments later the car pulled up to the main entrence and stopped. A man, clad in a black suit and matching gloves exited and went around to the passenger side door, opening it a woman stepped out and nodded as the door closed.

"How long Miss French?" The Driver, Simon asked.

"Not long Simon, just park around back and I'll find you when I'm finished." Ms. French said.

Simon the driver/bodyguard nodded in understanding and slipped back into the drivers seat.

As the car drove away, Olivia French ascended the crumbling stairs to the wooden door above, it was horribly warped and refused to close behind her.

She walked in an was immediatly hit by a sensation reminiscent of rotten peaches and severe body odor.

"Olivia, thank god you came!" A highly feminine male voice shouted.

"Why did you call me to this...charming place Spencer?" Olivia asked

Spencer grinned and handed her a file. "This case is quite a doozy." he said pointing at the folder.

"Patient is officially listed as John Doe...."

"But it says here his name is Luke Benson." Olivia said.

"That what he claims but according to the occupants of the house he broke in, Tom and Sandra Benson they had a boy named Luke but he died as a baby." Spencer said.

"The cops arrested him and brought him to us when he started raving about "Not being where he was supposed to be". Spencer said reading the report.

"Sounds like classic Disassociation." Olivia said.

"That's what I thought until I talked to him, he seems perfectly in control and said that his outburst at the cops was just his way of acting at the realisation that his world had turned upside down."
