In honor of those lost

Every year, starting on 9/11/02 I have drawn a picture honoring those lost on that day. And I will continue to do so for the rest of my life. This is today's entry dated 9/11/09.

Never Forget!

Figurehead, does your life consist of nothing but trolling?

I wasn't trolling. Anything but "omg, this is patriotic" is trolling?

I thought an anime Captain America looking off into the distance was a funny way to "honor those who were lost".

He's not looking into the distance, he's (symbolically) looking forward to a better, brighter future for all. At least that's how I drew it.

I find it funny that 9/11 is the only occasion of something falling down that people don't laugh at.

I'll never forget. The fear and confusion I felt that whole day. Walking from second period study hall to third period CAD class. People were talking about buildings being bombed and it wasn't until I got down to the CAD class and watched the video of the towers burning that it really hit me.

I have been to New York City five times in my life. The first time was a week before the first attack on the Trade Center (Van in parking garage) we drove right past it.

The Third time was a year before 9/11

the fifth was past Ground Zero.

So when you douchbags joke or celebrate you remember that people died on 9/11. Not just in the planes and the towers but the families of the victims died as well.

I said name one person. You made up like 8 names and then posted a picture of Colonel Sanders.

You have no connection to any of these people. You don't get bonus points anymore for being patriotic.

Those are real people who died on 9/11 and it's Uncle Sam.

I said name one person who cared. You gave me a list of dead skeletons who were probably dismembered and burned alive and ground into dust under the rubble of the towers. Dead, dismembered skeleton dust doesn't have any cares.

Oh my god you have no soul! You are without doubt the worst human being on the planet.
