Speed Demos Archive has gotten together with others to speedrun 72 games in under two days. Although, it's almost over, it's still worth it checking in. They're currently on Metroid: Zero Mission and will be playing Legend of Zelda, Zelda 2, Link's Awakening, Dr. Mario, and Final Fantasy VI afterwards.

They're doing it for charity, too. Amazing!
