I like them. I suppose they do take some getting used to if you've never been into them, though, as they are very strange in comparison to a lot of western rpgs like Fallout 3, Mass Effect, etc.

Like with wrpgs, it depends on the game for me.

I stopped liking FF after VI, and the only ones I probably like are Mother, Golden Sun and some of the Tales games.

actually theres a new action game coming out that takes place in the wild west, and it looks really good. I thought it was a movie at first when I saw the trailer.

I've heard that the Bleach games are pretty lame. I do like the anime, though.

Anyways I'm picky with jrpgs. They mostly seem like the same old game over and over again.

Most Jrpgs I played feels very recycled, It must suck to look at the enourmous amount of RPG games in japan, only to realize that they are all carbon copies of each other.

Western RPG games studios are much more competitive, forcing them in different directions and to create new things.

Western RPGs also seem to spend a lot of time making itself believable, unlike Jrpgs who are just spiky hair in obscure colours.
