((It's fine Jo-Bengt, I can let it slide this time; just try to read over any future posts first, or better yet, PM me if you don't understand any future posts, okay? And I guess we can put it that way, Silves, about Vincent never really knowing about John in the first place...))

((I just misread it, is all. My bad :embarrassed:. The group would've ended up in the shop anyway, right? ))

Wait a minute..., Darius thought, looking over the shortblade he had picked out. He set his new longsword to the side and took out his old shortblade. Suddenly, he began to twirl the new one. Twirling it and waving it around, he measured how well it moved, how quickly it moved, and how light it was. He swapped hands and did it with his old one, finding that his old one was a little better all around. "Hmm..." He set the new one back and found another one that was similar, and tried it. It was better than the last, and better than his old one. Satisfied, he picked up his longsword again and went to the counter.

"So, how much will these be, Signore?" He politely asked of Smithy.

"Show off," Ulia thought aloud, getting in line behind Darius with her boots and new outfit.

When Smithy watched the male Hylian twil one of the short blades he ad to offer, he knew that the weapon suited the lad. He thought for a moment, remembering the price of the weapon. "For a blade like that, I'd normally sell it for one-hundred ruppees, but since you're a friend of Vincent's, I'll offer you a twenty-percent discount, so that would come out to eighty ruppees, if that's fine." He spoke, expecting the lad to try to haggle for a slightly lower price. "But, you'll try to take Vincent with you for a while, though... Can you?" He added, hoping that the group understood his intentions.

"And for this lovely armo(u)r?" Saka said as he walked up to the counter.

((Sooner or later, I think something is going to have to end up happening to Darius' relative with money))

"Well," Darius considered. He had worked with Vincent before. He got the group to the Deku Kingdom like he had asked, and his skills as an archer would definitely prove to be invaluable. There was no question. "Certainly, of course. Thank you very much for this great deal. You have done a lot for us, and I appreciate it. I will definitely bring Vincent along in my travels." Darius handed the money over.

"Finally," Ulia sang, hip-shoving him out of the way. "Alright! I absolutely love this outfit that you're giving me, thank you so much! Oh, and I want to buy these!" She raved, laying the boots on the counter.

Darius scratched the back of his head. Maybe he didn't really need the sword after all. His current longsword served him well enough as it is.

((Lol, Corrupt. Don't worry, I've got something planned.))

Smithy looked at the Zora when he asked him for the armor, and knew that he took a while to prepare that, seeing that he found some materials from the Zoras that have recently set up shops in Kakariko. They were perfect to craft some armor for anyone, but that armor was made specifically for any Zora warrior, and as such, he had to increase the price just a tad more compared to normal armor. "Aye, you have a good eye there. That piece of armor is one of my more recent pieces of work; the metal used to make it is able to deflect arrows without much of a problem, and most swords will have a difficult time cutting through it, but as for the sword I'm making for Vincent... well, who knows. The price for the armor is roughly five-hundred and fifty ruppees. It's too difficult to think of a good enough discount right away, but I'll be willing to take off fifty ruppees, so that would mean ten percent off. But don't tell anyone about these discounts; you're Vincent's friends, and any friends of his deserve a small decrease in prices." He spoke, knowing that Vincent didn't havce very many friends outside the village, and they deserved something a bit more.

"And lassie, that outfit is on the house, but the boots would cost you about sixty-ruppees; the reason for that is because, not only do they offer a bit more protection, but they're to keep your feet comfortable in even the harshest of climates; whether it be too hot or too cold." He spoke, the insolation for the boots wasn't very cheap to buy, but it did help make perfect boots for all, and any weather conditions.

"Alright! Thanks! I can't wait to start using them!" Ulia beamed, letting Darius hand over the rupees and then putting them on.

They were so comfortable! She didn't even have to break them in! "Again, thank you so much!" She trotted off into a corner to put the jacket back on and began to strap on the elbow and kneepads, and slipped into the fingerless gloves. Finally, she strapped her family sword around her right shoulder to seal the deal.

Darius also forked over the five-hundred rupees, happy to pay for his friends. "Thank you." He looked at his friends. "Well, I guess we had better get going, Castle Town waits. I think my father would like to know where I am, as well... but I'm going to get Vincent, tell him that we would like for him to come along. I will be back." He headed out the door and walked over to Vincent's archery range next door.

"I'm pretty sure we'll be back to try the archery games," Ulia assured Smithy right after Darius walked out.

"Hey, Vincent!" Darius called, waving at him. "We're leaving for Castle Town. I was wondering if you want to come along. We would certainly want you to. Besides, you still need to get your pay for the last job."

When Smithy was payed, he smiled at them and saw them out, and after looking out the window for a moment, he closed it and put up the blinds, before returning to work on the sword he was crafting. One of the few materials that John had brought him would keep it so the sword will always remain sharp, and will never have to be repaired. It took him a while to smelt the metal down to a molten fluid, and soon began to temper the blade with the molten metal, hammering two spots into the blade for where the rubies would be placed, but that was if he got the rubies in time, as Vincent's birthday was at the end of the week; three days from now. Well, technically, it was the day he found Vincent when he went to get some materials for his stock from the Gorons.

------------------------------------------------------

Vincent was aware that his birthday was coming up, at least from what he heard from Smithy. But when he heard Darius ask for him to go with them to Castle Town, Vincent was a little confused why he would ask him that. Regardless, he nodded and came out and had closed the archery-range, making sure he had his equipment. "Sure, I guess. But knowing Smithy, he probably won't let me use the stallion without his permission, so I guess I'll be going with you on foot. Not that I have any problems with that..." He spoke, scratching the back of his head. But he really wanted them to at least stay for one or two rounds at his archery game, yet he didn't say anything; knowing that they were probably in a hurry as it is.

(ack, you guys left the shop so fast, I couldn't even ask him about my weapon! >< oh well...)

Kira followed the group silently, watching the blinds close. Her mind was shuffling over many thoughts, wondering how long it would take to get to Castle Town and... Did she really want to go back? Well, so long as she didn't have to go to the upper parts, she'd be alright.

Smithy watched as another, female, Hylian entered the store, and was a little surprised when she asked him if he had any weapons related to the Sheikah. "Aye... I do, lassie... But not very many ask to look at them, so I keep them in the back with the rest of my stock. And if it hadn't been for that feller who came in here not too long ago, I would've been out of business. So basically, he provides me with materials from across the seas, while I pay him a fraction of the payout from the weapons to get the newer materials." He spoke, and before he could signal the girl to come over, he wondered if he could trust these travelers.

"Perhaps I can show you one of my work in progresses to the bunch of you? It's for Vincent for his upcoming birthday... Ever since I gave him that bow he has, that's all he ever uses, putting that sword I gave him at a major waste. So I've been thinking... That if you're able to take Vincent with you until I send word to him to return here, then I wouldn't have to worry about him coming here to ruin the surprise and all..." He spoke, stepping out of the way to give them a view of the sword he was making for Vincent.

It was a single-edged, saber-like weapon which the blade took on the shape of flames. However, the only problem was that, in the way it was now, it looked rather plain, which isn't what Smithy intends to leave it as. "I'm still missing some materials to have it enchanted and whatnot; the main thing I will need, but will be a serious pain to get, is on of the enchanted rubies which the Gorons hold onto for their ceremonies. It is said that their rubies are able to enchant any metal that comes in contact with them, and if it's in a weapon, it's supposed to radiate the same kind of heat as that of the magma that's deep inside Death Mountain... I would ask Vincent to head up and ask the Goron Leaders if they could give me at least two, but that would mean exposing this to him. It would make a valuable weapon for Vincent, now wouldn't you think, and surely it would be a great replacement sword instead of the broadsword he had now?" He spoke, knowing that having a fire-enchanted sword was better than a regular, double-edged sword.

((Kira, that's when he answered her.))

((Anyway, I'm getting out of the shop because we're spending a lot of time in it. We've gotta get on with the adventure. Zzz ))

Darius walked back around and into the shop. "Alright, if anyone else needs to buy anything, now is the time. We must get moving."

"Hey, Darius," Ulia asked, "are we ever coming back for the archery games?"

"Of course. It will have to wait, however. We need to get out pay from the last job."

(UPDATE! ANYTHING IN THIS POST IS OUT OF CHARACTER)

((I apoligize for the double-post))

Alright. I've gotten around to outlining the expansion of Hyrule in comparison to the TP hyrule. Some of this may not be set in stone yet, and some of it, like the Deku Olive Branch Settlement Barrier, hasn't been established yet in the story, but will be due to the efforts of the Party. I'll post the map and offer further analysis below it.

lozrmap.png

So, you can clearly see that Castle Town has expanded its ass off. I'd say that Hyrule is running out of room, but making this map made me see just how much unused space there was in TP Hyrule.

Kakariko has expanded dramatically, as well. You can see where some of it has been placed in the elevation around the original TP Kakariko, as well as in Hyrule Field. This makes it a pretty diverse area.

You see a lot of land that is planned for exploration. This just means that they know it's there, but they haven't exactly gone there yet. They may or may not settle there

Notice the Bulbin lands, and the planned exploration that cuts into its backyard.

Something more immediate, notice the already explored and settled land that cuts into Gerudo lands. This leads to war, and is why yo0u see so much Gerudo oppression in Castle Town.

The sea is known about because of messages and writings recovered from Gerudos. There is also mention of a large fortress by the sea.

Notice the Deku Olive Branch Settlement Barrier :joy: . I love that RPG effect where your choices affect the world around you. We did that. Isn't that awesome?

You can see that there's expansion into the mountains, and past the mountains in the northeast. Hyrule is growing, and is becoming an empire. We're looking at a much bigger Hyrule than we've seen before here.

So, what do y'all think? Also, if you want to make a large OOC post, just do what I did at the top of this post: (ANYTHING IN THIS POST IS OUT OF CHARACTER)

Darius laughed. "Yeah, we should. He is just going to argue about it, though. Besides, I think that is what he wants us to do. Well, if we have bought all that we want to buy, we should get going. Thank you very much for the deals that you have made us, Smithy." Darius shook Smithy's hand and began to walk out. "Saka, Ulia, we have got a bit of a walk ahead of us. Let's go." He called, finally walking out the door.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!" Ulia cheered, following Darius. "I'd hug you, but we don't really know each other, so that'd be kinda awkward, but thanks!"

"Hey Vincent, come on!" Ulia chimed, her head and shoulders popping out around the corner of Smithy's shop at Vincent. She turned around and hugged Darius tightly. "Thank you so much, Darius." She told him, beginning to loosen up on the hug, but not letting go. "Thank you so much for paying for me. I'm sorry I'm a poor Ordonian girl..."

"There is nothing wrong with that, Ulia," Darius assured her, hugging her back. "You are a friend of mine, and that is all that matters."

"Thanks," she finished, letting go of him.

"You are welcome. Besides, I need to make sure that you have good equipment if you are on my team."

"Yeah, you're right. It's pretty good equipment, too," she reminded him, looking over her new attire.

"I really need to talk with my father, though. I am not sure of what he will say to me for spending this much money..." Darius revealed, rubbing the back of his neck.

((Yeah, I'm not a good artist, I think it'd be better to leave the actual mapping to someone with some skill -.- ))

((Kay, thank you, Jo smile.gif You make me happy.))

"I say we increase taxes in Castle Town! The citizens do not deserve the money we provide for them!"

An audible murmur rippled throughout the room. “Are you a fool, Malro?! You know that if we increase Castle Town's taxes the people will be in uproar! We'd never see a day without a complaint, or even a refusal of trade! Surely you are not so thick to do such a thing."

Malro scowled angrily and turned his gaze on the rebutter. "What do you suggest we do then, O mighty wise one?" he mocked.

Zelda was a patient person, but never could she watch and wait for her council to argue and bicker over how to scam rupees off the Hylian public. Never could she listen to these greedy, self absorbed morons, try to take money away from her hard working citizens of Hyrule. Anger washed over her again as another member voiced a different idea, but this time of lowering pay income. She’d had enough.

“Silence!

((And don't worry, it's fine.))

((Alright, let's get this show on the road. To Castle Town!))

"Well, I guess we are heading out now," Darius shrugged, and called for everyone to follow him.

It wasn't that long of a road between Castle Town and Kakariko, but it was one that they had to cross by nightfall or late afternoon. They had to get going, and now.

"I really hope they just pay us when we get there," Ulia said as they walked down the road.

"You know that there will be politics to wade through," Darius rolled his eyes. "They want us to be mindless grunts who think with the blade and not our minds or hearts. They do not want people who have morals. They did not specify what solving the problem means, though. However, they are going to act like they did."

Finally, the east Castle Town gate stood open before them, with a crowd of people waiting inside.

"Well, here we are. Pay day," Darius declared with little excitement.

"Wait... You what?" the Hylian recruiter was taken aback, shocked. "This matter is out of my hands. You must hold court with a noble to decide your pay. I simply don't know what to say about this..." Darius and his group was escorted towards Upper Castle Town.

"Just great... Nobles..." Ulia moaned.

"What?! Are you kidding me?! I did the job! Where is my pay! Where is my group's pay!" Darius demanded, insulted by this noble's arrogance.

"You did not do your job. You were told to solve the problem, not negotiate."

"But that solved the problem! Your contract did not specify what I should do in order to solve the problem. Our actions have not only solved the problem, but opened new doors to Hyrule! You, of all people, should be able to see this."

"Your actions have placed a barrier on our map. We cannot settle there because of you."

"Oh, excuse me. I deeply apologize for making it impossible to form one settlement."

"You should be, commoner."

"Excuse me? I am Darius Garrel, an upper classman. You will not address me as a simple commoner."

"Ah, but look at the company you keep! An Ordonian girl, a Zora bartender, a Kakariko apprentice, and... Is that who I think it is?"

"It does not matter. My company is as noble as I am, and even more reliable. For I am their leader, and I trust them with my life."

"You place your trust very easily, very foolishly. Also, I was informed that we would be paying two people... not five."

"Your contract stated that whoever joins me in my quest will be paid equally when the job was finished."

"Yes, but the job is clearly not finished."

"The only other option was genocide, Signore. I will not have the destruction of an entire race on my hands, without even giving them a chance. They never even killed one of us. The guards who were taken prisoner were released."

"Those guards have returned. However, if genocide is what it takes to get the job done, you shall commit it. You will not be paid today."

Darius could not believe what he had just heard. He knew that politicians were crooked, but never this crooked. This was not corruption. This was evil. He could not stand it. Irritation quickly turned to rage. "Politico donnaccia! I'll spingere il mio cazzo misura il tuo cranio di tua nonna morta sta per venire! Poi mi scopare tua moglie con la spina dorsale! Cagna!"

The nobleman was shocked, his eyes wide, his jaw dropped. "Guards! Guards!"

"Chiamare la guardia, figa! Una cagna come si dovrebbe!" Darius roared, spitting at the nobleman as soon as the guards took him and began to drag him out.

"You should not have spoken to Malro in such a way, Garrel," one of the guards barked as he threw Darius outside, ordering his friends after him, then returning inside, shutting the door in their faces.

"Friends, I apologize. Greatly. I should not have lost myself up there."

"What exactly did you say up there? I can't understand any of that noble speak crap," Ulia asked, kneeling down next to him.

Darius blew some air out. "A lot of things."

((Sorry if I just took over your character, Zelda. If you want me to make it a different noble, I will.))
