The slider is pretty much confirmed. It will be used to strengthen or weaken the 3D effects on the 3DS.

Some people might get motion sickness.

I always feel sorry for anyone who does.

That is super lame. If I got motion sickness from a game, I'd still play it. Just a bit less often.

It seems an odd function. Though I guess some people do get motion sickness easily. I know someone who can't play Mario Kart for that reason.

To be honest, I'm not much into 3D myself. I'm more interested in the graphics themselves. If the device has amazing graphics, I might not even play it in 3D, ever.

It all depends on the graphics and how they plan to use the 3D.
