Posted 17 Jun 2010 I noticed something about Ocarina of Time: the Deku tree mentioned that Link was brought to the foreset as a baby and grew up there, but the Kokiri never age. Shouldn't at least one Kokiri noticed Links odd habit of growing bigger and changing in maturity over time? it just seems odd . . .
Posted 17 Jun 2010 My guess is that the Kokiri age up to a certain point, and then stop growing. When Link hit the age that a Kokiri usually stops growing, it was time for him to go on his journey.
Posted 17 Jun 2010 Basically what Knuckle said. I always figured that when Kokiri are born they are naturally baby size. Then when they turn 10 they get as tall as they do and stop aging.
Posted 18 Jun 2010 The Kokiri were based on Peter Pan. And no, not the Disney movie. Also, YLA, it's never said what age Link is when he begins his journey, or how old the Kokiri are.
Posted 18 Jun 2010 Really? I thought it was confirmed that Adult Link was 17.
Posted 18 Jun 2010 I think thats just his age range. I would say adult link was under twenty, and young link was over seven.
Posted 18 Jun 2010 So if Kokiri are born and capable of aging, then where do the baby Kokiri's come from? It seems unlikely that they come from other child Kokiri, or at least too squicky for Nintendo to inply. So where do the Kokiri babies come from?
Posted 18 Jun 2010 His point is that it doesn't really matter.
Posted 18 Jun 2010 It is a puppying game. It doesn't really matter. It's fun to analyze LoZ, but over analyzing it makes the game look stupid. PS- Kokiri don't give birth. The Deku Tree does.
Posted 27 Jul 2010 Um..... and how does he reproduce exactly?
Posted 27 Jul 2010 Magic. It's not like he gives maternal birth. He creates the Kokiri and gives then life. Similar to the creation story of Judea-Christianity.
