This is an Open setup. What that means is that the roles are known in the thread before the game begins. So, here are the roles that are in this game.

2 Werewolves

1 Seer

6 Townies

The Werewolves are the evil faction in this game. Between the two of them, they can make one night kill every Night phase. Their goal is to outnumber or be equal in size to the number of remaining townspeople, at which point they win the game.

The Seer is a special townie. Once per night, the Seer can target one player and discover that player's alignment (Town or Wolf). The Seer in this game has a "guaranteed sanity", meaning that the Seer can always be certain that their results are accurate.

The other six Townies have no ability whatsoever. The Town must rely on daily voting and lynching to find and kill the Werewolves. The Town (including the Seer) wins when there are no werewolves left alive.

Day phases will be 48 hours long, and Night phases will end after 24 hours OR after the werewolves and seer have both decided on their targets. This game begins on a Day phase.

9 people can sign up before I'll close signups. This game will run immediately after enough people have joined.

If you have experience but would still like to participate, you're perfectly welcome. Since this game is non-ranked, players will be free to PM me for impartial advice during the game. After the game, we'll discuss what took place as a group.

Day 1 starts now and lasts 48 hours! With 9 players remaining, it's 5 votes to lynch.

Even with 5 votes, a lynch will not take place until 24 hours have passed. If the deadline of 48 hours is reached, the player with the majority of total votes in play will be lynched. If there is no majority vote, a No Lynch will occur.

Beginning the game can seem hard, but it's easier than it looks. Start by casting a "random" vote -- since nobody could have any real suspicions about anyone else yet, your vote won't be taken too seriously, but will still spark discussion. This is a good and neutral way for townies and wolves to get things moving.
