So on my vacation/holyday we was on a chinese resturant very often (maybe because it was a buffet resturant :D) but anyways, it was name "Slow Boat" and there was plenty more chinese resturants with that name.

So can anyone help me and say WTF it means!!??

A slow boat is a boat that goes very slow. Wait shouldn't that have been obvious?

It probably doesn't have a meaning. It's just the name of chain of restaurants.

The name comes from the expression "slow boat to China," so I guess every Chinese restaurant in that area just thought the name was creative.

It might also be a chain, not just a bunch of restaurants with the same name.

I've never heard that one before. I've seen plenty of "Panda Garden", "Golden Palace", and "Imperial Garden" buffets, though.
