Sorry, I've never played OoX. But in all honesty I also liked the transformations in MM, they were cool. Only problem I had with it was that it looked horribly painful to transform in those games. I didn't like Link suffering.

Personally I'd like to see Link transform into a Horse, so he can be his own Epona.

I liked the realism in that he actually suffered during a full body transformation.

And no Link should just ride Epona. How rejected would real Epona feel if Link just turned into a horse and galloped away, not needing her assistance at all.

Also other things wrong with making Link become his own Epona.

Maybe even Animal Crossing.
