King Dodongo: no bombs, no bracelet

Man, I've heard of people getting into Dodongo's Cavern without the goron bracelet, but this is crazy. Extensive use of the infinite sword glitch and precise bombchu aiming apparently lets you skip the entire dungeon and beat the boss.

Woah that's very neat. I like that, haha.

Great find, Knuckle. I always enjoy those OOT Shortcuts and Glitches.

Weren't those bomb plants in the corners of the boss arena? Why didn't he just use those instead of bombchus? And why was he constantly equipping and unequipped his shield? A lot of the boss fight didn't make sense to me.

Have you played Ocarina of Time before, Pheo? Some people say it's the worst game in the series, but you should really give it a shot.

Knuckle, if you haven't seen them already, check out the

(1 hour, 16 minutes) of Ocarina of Time and the
(56 minutes) of Ocarina of Time.

They're quite the watch.

Also, just in case you have;

to help complete Majora's Mask without explosives.

That was cool, but aren't bombchus bombs? So technically they're using bombs or am I just thinking about this way more than I should?

In the context of what he was saying, he meant regular Bombs, which would exclude Bombchus.

So, yeah, you're right to be confused.

YLA, I was thinking the same thing.

Either way, very impressive. He knew all of Dodongo's rolls and attacks precisely.

Pheo play the damn game, quit kidding yourself.

The only thing that irked me about the video was that, yeah, he was clearly using an emulator, but he used speen run techniques without actually doing a serious speedrun. So it was just annoying when he was stopping to sidestep or whatever. Broke the flow. He should have just did it normally until he got to the parts where he needed to do the crazy timing.

Just because I forgot how the game happened doesn't mean I have any idea what the hell the infinite sword glitch is.

We are talking about the goron bracelet/bomb flower comment.

Oh, they can only be lifted with the goron bracelet? I was just going off the fact that you don't need a bracelet to lift them in the other games.
