Two months ago, Chemical and Extraterrestrial research facility #13, on the dwarf planet of Kerra, reported a deadly bug that made utility droids attack anyone who came near them. The Security guards and drones made quick work of these malfunctioning bots, only to have the security drones go berserk. The station was to be evacuated, but then communications were cut off and we were not able to get readings of any lifeforms on the station. When evacuation ships were sent, the automatic turrets on the facility attacked. No attempt should be made to go near this station, all citizens....

Occupation: Security Guard

Background: Andrew has been a security guard for three years on the station, though he found the job incredibly boring. When the utility bots went crazy, he thought it would have been fun to see action for a change. He was right... until CQ-241(nicknamed Cane), a security drone, and also a good friend since Andrew came to the station, turned on him. Andrew was forced to destroy the drone and was badly hurt in the process. Drones everywhere went crazy and started attacking all the humans they saw. He crawled through the station until he found a docile part of the station. He started searching for supplies, and found a first aid kit to tend to his wounds. The last thing he remembered was a drone coming through the door.

Occupation: Gardener in the greenhouses (I assume something like that wouldn't be entirely run by droids).

Background: Has lived on Kerra nearly all her life, and she started working at the C&E research centre five years ago. She specialises in extraterrestrial plant specimens, but she also has a private space where she grows her own Earth plants.

I can't build much with what you've given me right now, but maybe she's hiding in her private greenhouse. Was it just the security drones that went beserk, or would other maintenance drones have done the same?

I suppose. But I didn't put in too much thought when I first started it. Should we just start or try to improve the story a bit?

Up to you. I'm cool with making it up as we go along. I'm seriously out of practice, mind. Haven't roleplayed in about 6 years.
