The TV season is over and before the Summer series start I thought I should review the finale episodes of my favorite shows.

****Be warned, there are spoilers abound****

Fringe Season 3 Finale

"The Day we Died"

After stepping into the machine Peter finds himself in the middle of a fierce battle near the site of the new World Trade Center in the year 2028 working as a member of Fringe Division. Suffering from injuries he is taken to Fringe Division Medical. We learn that Peter stepped into the machine and did indeed destroy the parallel reality, but in doing so sealed the fate of "ours". Peter's wife Fringe Division Director Olivia Dunham and newly minted agent Ella Dunham arive to tell him news.

We also learn that a Terrorist group called "The End of Day'ers" want to bring about the end by detonating "Light Bombs" near the dimensional "Soft Spots". But as Peter finds out from the Dunhams that one of the so-called Light Bombs was a dud. After trying his hardest to figure it out Peter pays a visit to US Senator Phillip Broyles (now with a freaky looking dead eye) and asks to get Walter out of prison (after Fringe events became public knowledge, the people held him responsible and he was imprisoned).

Peter gets his wish and Walter is freed. Walter returns to his lab and meets his new assistant Ella Dunham, they talk about old times, about "Uncle Walter" and Jean the Cow.

Walter discovers what makes the bombs work and they track a radiation signature to a park, where peter finds a hide-a-key with the family cabin key from Rayden Lake. Walternate, who years earlier traveled here on a mission of mercy has been living in seclusion. Walternate tells Peter that he has been building the bombs to destroy this world in retaliation for destroying his.

Peter attempts to take Walternate in but discovers he's only a projection. In reality Walternate is in New York near the Central Park Vortex Amber site. Walternate detonated the bomb and shoots Olivia in the head.

After Olivia's funeral Walter discovers something amazing about the machine...he himself built it, or will build it. He then tossed the components into the Central Park Vortex and they were transported millions of years in the past.

Peter and Walter decide to use the Machine to make things right...

Back in 2011, Peter Bishop is in the machine. as his consciences spans the divide he merges the realities on Liberty Island creating a kind of "Weigh Station" a neutral territory for a dialogue to begin.

As he explains to the two Walters his plans Peted suddenly vanishes, and no one reacts.

Outside a group of Observers had gathered, September (Walter's friend) among them.

As September talks to an other Observer we learn that the reason they didn't react was that Peter in using the machine erased himself from existence.

Next Time:

The Mentalist Season Three Finale "Strawberries and Cream".

Community season two finale

"A Fistfull of Paintballs" and "For a few Paintballs more".

What began as an ordinary end of the year picnic sponsored by Pistol Patty's, a cowboy themed ice creamery quickly turns to paintball chaos as the offered grand prize of $100,000 turns the students into crazed animals...again.

As Annie the "Queen of Hearts" hunkers down in the science lab she is ambushed by Abed "Jack of Clubs" he is on a mission to bring annie to join Jeff "King of Spades" in the group study room. But things are hardly safe for Jeff and Chang as they are ambushed by Math club (who has gotten better since last year). Chang betrays Jeff to the math club and just as jeff is ambushed Abed arrives and saves him. As Chang runs off Jeff mentions that he plans to go to Pierce and take his paint stash in his Salon near the cafeteria. Jeff mentions pierce's behavior the past year and we see a flashback of the group sans pierce playing cards. As the group is about to leave a student is shot by a guy in black wearing spurs (Lost's Josh Holloway). He attacks with two double barrel shotguns of paint but luckly the trio manage to escape clean. The "Network TV Goodlooking" guy is locked out so taking a momentary breather the trio are ambushed by Brita "Queen of Spades", Sherly "Ace of Clubs" and Troy "King of Clubs" they are acting as deputies of Fort Hawthorne and aim to collect Pierces bounty on Jeff "Wanted Gay and Alive". Fort Hawthorne aka The Cafeteria is a safe zone where guns are not allowed. As the group eats Pierce mentions a large store of paint and the skeptical group reluctantly agrees after Pierce talks about the impending summer and how the only thing he'll be doing is counting down the days till next year. As the Study Group makes there way to the cache Annie hears the Cheerleaders about to execute Chang but annie kills them and takes their guns. Out of ammo Annie gives chase with Jeff's gun to get Chang. She is ambushed by the black rider and after some flirting he shoots annie in the foot but her gun doesn't fire Jeff and Abed arrive in time and the Black Rider uses Annie as a shield for his escape. The Study Group makes their way to the Dean's office and gets the paintball equipment from last years Paintball assassin game (Modern Warfare). Annie confronts pierce and he says that he betrayed them because they excluded him from the card game, but annie tells him that it wasn't a game but a vote to kick him out of the group. The black rider appears and Pierce fakes a heart attack and kills him.

The Black Rider reveals he works for Pistol Patty and that he was hired to take out the Greendale students so he wouldn't have to pay out the money and that there's a much bigger plan in the works. A blindfolded Chang runs outside and is gunned down by a paint gatling gun and Pistol Patty and his Storm Troopers invade the school.

In the end it is revealed that Pistol Patty is the Dean of City College, Greendale's rival school and his plan was to have the students destroy their own school, after a few surprises (including a very long make out scene between Annie and Abed) Pierce ends up winning the game and he donates the money to repair the school.

In the aftermath we learn that Pierce has been a Greendale student for 11 years and he always gets kicked out, the group decides to invite him back but he refuses, the episode closes with the group waiting for Pierce to come crawling back.
