Weirdly enough I get corrected more often when I pronounce Saria as 'Say-ree-a' instead of 'Sar-ee-a' then when I say 'oak-arina' =P

Okay, just squidding... as if the one that will get the joke will ever read this.

Anyway, to be honest I have no idea. English pronunciation always confuses me, I can't never separate properly for other the syllabus to explain how I say things. I thought I nailed it, but then people pronounce things in a weird way to follow my instructions so... nope.

I just try to spell the word Ocarina according the way I'd do it in Spanish.

Right now I am confused between AW and Oak sounds so I don't know which one is. I am not voting until I show this thread to two of my friends and drag them to join this boards and share their own TLoZ madness

This discussion reminds me all the crazy different ways we have to spell names and stuff during high-school.

For things you even take for granted like "Malon" and "Hyrule".

I've had my friend correcting me that the name was Sar-I-a, because I'd pronounce it Sar-EE-a.

Nowadays I just find it funny how we can differ so much because of our accent and language.
