Your Favorite TV Intro songs

In it's heyday, television shows had intro songs. Simple songs that explained the basic premise or made your toe tap with a good hook. In the early 2000's intro songs fell by the wayside for quick intros consisting of only a title logo and a few bars of music. But recently the intro song has made a comeback.

what intro songs do you sing/hum along to.

For me there are a few:

"At least it was here" by The 88

(used in NBC's Community)

"Short Skirt/Long Jacket" by Cake

(used in NBC's Chuck)

"You Can't Take the Sky From Me" by Joss Whedon

(used in Firefly)

"Twilight" by Numeriklab

(used in NCIS)

"I Know, You Know" by The Friendly Indians

(used in Psych)

"Bad Things" by Jace Everett

(used in True Blood)

How has no one mentioned the first Pokemon intro.

HOW.

But yeah, this would be my list (and only listing by name of show because I'm too lazy to look up a bunch of titles and artists, unless I know them already):

Pokemon English Theme Song (Original)

Digimon English Theme Song

Sailor Moon English & Japanese Theme Songs

Happy Days Theme Song

Yu-Gi-Oh English Theme Song

Community's Intro Song (At Least it was Here - The 88)

Corner Gas Theme (Not A Lot Goin' On - Craig Northey & Jesse Valenzuela)

Usagi Drop Theme Song (Sweet Drops - PUFFY)

More will come to me..

I skipped the pokemon intro because it was too easy, duh.

Is it weird that I feel simultaneously good and bad for the musicians who end up doing children's theme songs? The guys who did pokemon can probably retire now, and they did something so memorable, but it was just a theme song. I don't think they picked up an instrument for theme songs.

Fellow Who-vians? What is this I don't even! I already double taked finding out there was some one else on here who even knew waht Firefly was...

Anyhow! Pretty much every major opening I can think of that I enjoyed has already been covered...

WAIT! NO! I got it!

The Original 80's Transformer's Movie Opening Theme!

Yes, that required a sentence consisted of nothing but capitalized words.

And being on a comic book note, Spider-man's opening from the 60's and 90's cartoons, and the 90's X-Men and X-Men: Evolution openings.

Mmmm...yes...good times.

Of course there are Browncoats here. This is the internet. We're everywhere, lying dormant, like sleeper agents waiting for mention of our beloved show, and then we strike...

Lots of good show intros here, so I'll mention a couple I enjoy.

Elfen Lied - Lilium: I'm kinda lukewarm on the series and only really enjoyed the ending, but the intro music is just beautiful.

Cowboy Bebop - Tank!: Everyone knows this one, and it's catchy as hell. The animation is also stylin'.

Code Geass - Colors: JIBUN WOOOO....

I'll add some more later.
