I've never thought of myself as a jealous person, but...

Last weekend, I kissed this person I met once or twice before. It was (technically) my first kiss, and I kinda felt it meant something to us both.

We have talked a lot more on Facebook to try and get to know each other.

They posted a pic on Facebook about 10 mins ago as their profile picture, of them kissing someone else.

I never really thought of myself as a jealous person, and I figured I was pretty laid back when it came to something like this.

But it really panged for some reason, and it's really bothering me.

Rant rant rant blah.

well that sucks.

i know its one thing to kiss different people if youre not "going steady" but, i uh, hope that girl isnt kissing too many different people :<

given that its your first kiss, and you seem a tad on the romantic side (my idea of romantic is anyone more romantic than me.....i set a low standard) so the jealousy thing seems normal to me :P and the fact she switched so fast, and so openly :< imo, if this turns out to be typical behavior for her, you could do a lot better.

Hah, well, that's the awkward part.

You see, it wasn't quite a female.

Good guess though :3

that sucks :<

I didn't get my first kiss until like 2 months of dating.

so, if he turned around and kissed another girl I'd be like WHAT

(but saha wouldn't do that)

I think it's naturally to feel a bit of betrayal there :<

I suppose it wouldn't bother me as much, but he had told me he was gay and the person he's kissing is a girl.

I'm probably just overreacting, we weren't even really dating or anything XD

I am not sure whether or not your post was being a massive jerk or not.

lol, lack of pronouns. I could have /sworn/ there was a "she" in that rant, but apparently i just made up crap when i read it :P

still, it applies. though as far as kissing a guy/kissing a girl thing....idk if they were experimenting, secretly bi, confused, drunk, or that "girl" was just a really good cross-dresser. it could be a lot of things. the only way to know is to ask em about it, really. thats your call, though.

I pretty much assumed it was a guy, the way he was avoiding pronouns completely lol.

I imagine he put his lips on another guy's lips and maybe used his tongue, seeing as that's how it usually works Sayuri :P

Could've been a kiss to the cheek for all I knew.

I'm the not seeing the possible "jerkishness" of feeling a bit bummed about your first kiss snogging someone else. :/ I agree, yeah it's natural to feel like that.

Guess he's not really gay then lol. But, bi people exist as well, don't listen to the media!! /sociology student rage

But, idk, I'd probably send him a message about it, that may be too serious if it wasn't actually a serious relationship. IDK though :< I think one message is fine.

was about to ask this.

I mean what people here are imagining might be vastly different from how it is.

Maybe the pictured kiss is a joke, a cute thing i.e. gay guy kissing a straight girl. Rather than assuming the worst, gently ask what's up.
