If there is not a ???????????, then that means there is no slot open on that team. I am regulating this so that we can guarantee that the teams are even. otherwise everyone would just join the same damn team

This is a faction server, where there will be two separate factions in two different biomes divided by a desert, which will contain all of the important resources. Players will trade/fight for the different resources.

say which team you want in on and we (people on irc) will discuss it

Things worth noting:

• when we first start out, one of the main goals is to get a spawn point for each faction set up.This can be accomplished with a bed
  
• there will not be any pvp or assaulting of other factions at first. We are going to have a start up phase to get everything going
  
• as team members, you need to put all your petty little grudges aside and work together to make your faction the best it can be
  
• We will not be picky about how much blue or purple you have on your minecraft skin, as long as it can be seen from a distance there wont be a problem
  
• If you want to be a raider, you have to wait until after the start up phase is completed (i.e. the two factions have finished setting everything up). You will be kicked out of your faction and will not be allowed to take anything with you. this also involves getting kicked out of your group's forum

Why the hell didn't you just make a poll

Didn't I also already say I probably would just be living in the desert itself instead of being a part of a faction, due to how irritated I get when other players mess with whatever I build

I've already stated that I can't build around other people because I can't stand them taking my stuff or wrecking my stuff like they all always do. You're welcome to grief me when I'm out in my fort as long as it's on purpose, but I don't want to be responsible for a faction if its members are going to be more prone to destroying it than its enemies.

Two factions is enough.
