Man we (I?) thought we were all cool knowing what floppys even were, and then we're gone and told "this goes even DEEPER than that" and it goes back further, and thus explaining the meaning behind the floppy name in the first place.

We used floppy disks for some assignments in middle school as well, and before that. I remember I always had a habit of losing them, and mine were always pink. And I still have System Shock on a floppy somewhere. Great game.

I was pretty much mindblown with usb drives. Which I also had a habit of losing, until a certain incident.

We also have a Laserdisk player in the garage, as well as some movies for it. Like "Singin' in the Rain".

Also, if I remember correctly, the interior portion of floppy disks are, in fact, floppy. Though the lat time I handled one, I was 12. So I wouldn't really trust that assessment.

I'm pretty cool.

The funniest thing is, solid state has been the first real change in hard disks since the beginning.
