Posted 4 Mar 2013 So trying to drum up content and new users, right? Well here is an idea from me. I say we should bring back anime nights, but with a spin. Instead of having random nights where we show a random series or movie, we could have an organized, scheduled "blocks" showing the same show every week at the same time (but, like the next episode and stuff) followed by a different show on the schedule. Like this: Friday Nights would be 3 hours (roughly 6 shows) of whatever new series are playing you guys like. (psychopass, uh, puppy i dont really keep up on the anime thread but you know wut I mean.) Or just newer series in general, like Durarara!! might be neat. Saturday Nights (hosted by me) would show older dubbed anime. I'd call it "Throw Back Friday" lol. Here is my tentative line up, so you have an idea: Monster Hour: Pokemon (Seasons 1-whatever) Digimon Adventure (Season 1, maybe more) Action Hour: Dragon Ball (maybe Z after that is done, not sure) One Piece Robot Hour: Medabots Gundam (can someone recommend a series from it?) Then to wrap up the weekend, Sunday Nights would show an anime movie, new or older. Maybe 2 since animated movies tend to be shorter than live-action flicks. We would have a Hyrule.Net channel on Justin.tv or some other streaming site, and the people hosting would share the account. I think this could be a great community effort and could attract new users. Also It'd be fun! What do you guys think? Any hosting volunteers? Any show/movie suggestions? Edit- maybe some Sailor Moon in my line up too, oriflameacadahogar likes this

Posted 5 Mar 2013 CAN I RECOMMEND A GUNDAM SERIES. YOU'RE KIDDING RIGHT!?! And as for its legality, I believe a semi regular stream among a few people, probably something like 10-20 at the most would be no different than inviting some friends over to watch some stuff. And since many of us live in Illinois, or close, it wouldn't even be that much of a stretch to imagine. But if that can't be done then we could advertise it on the IRC, right? I mean it doesn't get much more unaffiliated than IRC.

Posted 22 Mar 2013 As long as there isn't too much critical commentary, there should be no problems with this.
