and id wager that most people have their parents added, at least people college age or younger. i remember how my mom hassled me to make their status "family" rather than the default "friend" even though i had no idea how the hell to do that and never went on facebook anyway. hell, most of all my posts ever are in japanese. i could write whatever the hell i feel like, provided that my dictionary can supply the words.
