oh man, like 6 years. I joined in february '07. thats nothing compared to some people but i'm proud i've managed to keep going on this site for so long

 

I am currently studying for my a levels, then i will go to uni, do maths, then maybe work in insurance or banking or something else boring for the rest of my life, i guess

It's difficult and inherently problematic to make sweeping statements about 200 million people, but from my experience, Americans are cool. They have that whole gun thing going on which is weird, and they're generally a fair bit more conservative than myself, but every American I've met irl has been cool. American culture (books,music and film; not pop culture) is pretty fab.
