I used to actually like Beyblade, but only the first season
I sort of collected them for a while, my favorite was a Master Dragoon with a wide weight, no Bit
It never lost

but really that kid is gonna murder his parents when he grows up
Did you guys ever hear that rumor of why Beyblades were supposedly banned in most American schools? They say one kid modified his beyblade with metal razors and launched it at another kid's face.Yep. that was totally the reason we were given at my school.
The opening to the show is very nostalgic for me
for the sake of us all
To this day I am proud to admit I have never seen so much as one episode of beyblade. That show, to me, remains stupider than yu gi oh and pokemon ever were.

Pheo how could you
Though I gotta say, yeah, yugioh and pokemon were both better, back then
Actually the first yaoi picture I ever saw was 2 guys from Beyblades going at it.
I didn't know a penis could fit into a butt until that fateful day
I mean, you can say what you want about pokemon, but it's not like the anime didn't just have it's own really really stupid moments every now and then. Particularly in later episodes.
Oh absolutely. There was a arc later on where they battle a monster mash. One character fights a werewolf and wins by putting a silver coin on his top.
Ha! Yeah, just watching the theme song reminded me of every other merchandise-centered tv show I've ever seen or heard of. They have tops flying through the air, exploding when they collide, and just, what? They're tops. What is the matter with you people. This doesn't. What? Maybe I'd be at least a bit more interested if it weren't for the fact that half of the show is forgetably generic shonen and the other half is trying to sell me something. I once again am saying this without watching the show.
