"Alien/beast manipulation (feral only), koniokinetic combat (as in dust, sand, etc), Mammal Manipulation." Tough call.

Rightio, so we got 4 people interested so far. The minimum for this kind of thing is probably 8. Anyone else from Skyloft/Establishing Hyrule that you think might be interested?

Mold Manipulation, Melanokinetic Constructs, Temporal Reload, or Metal Shield Construction.

I choose temporal reload. I can set save points and reset the battle if I die. Called it.

Maybe, but I've participated/watched fights like this, and there really isn't a fair way to do it... I just can't see it working out...

Yeah null my character, Martha. If teto is using one piece as a bases then I want to too!

The door-door fruit power would be really rad. Don't know what I'll use though!

Try to use one that hasn't been done in the show though.

I'LL DO WHAT I WANT! puppy YOU!!

lol but i mentioned the Door-Door fruit specifically because it's really interested but was only seen for less than half an arc, so it has lots of room to expand on.

So this is like a general discussion thread of it right? You should also make a character thread and then the actual thread. Or maybe multiple threads for each fight or group of fights or like, if we end the game and wanna start a new, make another thread for that too.

I'm thinking about being a Cotton Candy man.

I intend to. First I just wanted to gauge interest.

Oh, uhhh, we should decide on a tense. Past or present. Whatever you guys are most comfortable writing in

Whichever it is everyone should write in the same for consistencies sake. Lets just say past tense. Its what most people like to use.

I would probably instinctively go for present tense as you're more or less entering commands, but I can deal with past tense.

Okay, this is more or less how we used to do it back in the day

First post of each character has a brief description of their appearance, and maybe some little character bits if you feel like throwign them in, like what they’re feeling, or whatever.

Then they attack.

Gazardiel grabs what appears to be the hilt of a roman style gladius from his belt with his right hand and thrusts it out before him. A brilliant light surrounds and emerges from the tang, eventually settling into a long gout of stable flame. He reaches his arms upwards and arches his back, and his wings flex out to their full glorious span. He runs towards the manakin opposite him and hops into the air, his wings flapping strongly sending gusts of wind and downy feathers all around him. As he reaches his target, he folds his wings back in, rears his arm back and, falling swings it down towards the manakins head.

So this is the most minimalistic, basic type attack. Obviously thats not a ton of detail, and theres no mention of how the setting is affecting, if it is. Really you can be as descriptive as you like. We specifically mentioned sneak attacks? Examples of like, out of character and in character knowledge. Okay…

Gazardiel reaches inside his cloak and grasps an eye of the great seraph. Within it is the holy blinding light of judgement that all Seraphim naturally have. He grasps it and feints with his fiery sword, swinging it about half way before he throws the orb in front of him and pulls his hood over his eyes, to avoid being blinded

Okay so here, you know what your character  knows, BUT, if you can come up with a reason in character that your character would think to avert his eyes, or catch the feint, or any other way out of the angelic flash grenade, you would put it in your post, and you have a justification. Most of these fights are about finding unique solutions to an escalating battle.

If you are charging, then the charging takes the place of your attack, but you can still parry and defend yourself.

I actually wrote mine in present tense cause thats what i've been writing in lately. Lemme know if there's anything else.

This looks like hell to play, and I feel like I'd get tired of it quickly, but I'll keep thinking about what character I'll want to play. Like honestly I think my posts would consist of:

Seeing the city leveled, Teto sighs and wishes he hadn't even approached this dude. He'd rather be at a cafe but that was probably leveled, or closed due to the apocalyptic scene set before them. Now was no time for coffee. Teto fumbled for his knife that he got from that sage dude. It had a name but he'd long since forgotten it. This was the one that shot bullets, he thought. The Gun, it was called. Not a knife at all. He shot a few and hoped they'd hit.

That is really all I can do. But then I haven't thought of an interesting power yet so obvs I'd be hopeless against Phanta's character if I just had a gun I didn't know how to use.

I could play the pedestrians or the crowd. The obligatory sideline characters who shout "T-this is bad!" and "How can it be!! He's not human!!"
