Posted 28 Jul 2014 So I have beaten pikmin 3 and loved it. Pikmin 1 and 2 are a different story. I played them up at PokeFan's house as a kid, but never got through them. Before I got pikmin 3 I got both pikmin 1 and 2 on Wii. I haven't played the wii versions yet because the TV that the wii is hooked up to is garbage with the wii. It's the weirdest crap. I can hook up the wii to another TV and it works fine. Can hook up any other system to the TV and they work fine. The moment the wii and this tv connect it's like cat and dog. Audio lags by about 30 seconds, colors wash out, etc. How do you explain this crap. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Posted 31 Jul 2014 It is kind of challenging. Or I feel like I am missing something with the controls. I need to do the tutorial levels again. I am sad that you can't seem to swarm your Pikmin around like in the GameCube ones. I think you used he c-stick? Or maybe I haven't unlocked that function yet. Posted 31 Jul 2014 What it has instead are two new features: Lock on and charge. Charge is the new swarm, and its quite useful once you get the hang of it. You do it by locking onto the enemy and pushing whatever button you push to dismiss pikmin Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Posted 31 Jul 2014 Oh that's cool. I didn't unlock that yet. Man I wish we could all play Mario Party or Nintendo Land. I've yet to play it with more than two other people.
