I can't look at this right now because of reasons, but is this the fighting game?

Yes. Apparently for arcades in Japan in 2015. Maybe a $15 Wii U game for the US? (Total speculation about the US release lol)

I'm glad to see Machamp. In Pokémon Stadium 1 through Pokémon Battle Revolution, he's had the same crappy, short model. I'm glad to see him in this. I'm glad it wasn't Lucario and Blaziken

Also! I didn't know this was a collaboration with the Tekken guys. The names sound familiar but I didn't expect it. I don't really enjoy Tekken's fighting style, really. We don't know what the style will be like yet, but I hope it's not like Tekken.

Let's hope the plot isn't stupid as the Tekken games.

I also don't very much like the Tekken playstyle, but who knows, maybe it'll get better with a little Nintendo flavoring, like with Hyrule Warriors. Also, I think it's weird that they'd have an English trailer to announce Japanese arcade games.

Anyone else feel cheated out of a new pokemon colliseum after like ten seconds? I'm hoping they actually include pokemon that you wouldn't expect to play as in a fighting game. Of course Lucario is playable, because we've seen that a thousand times before, but there should also be, I dunno, weepinbell.

Coliseum was boring and draining imo.

Also, yeah, it'd be neat if they incorporated a large roster with Pokemon that aren't in the humanshape group, even Pokemon like Slowbro or Victreebel or something. I think a slow, dopey, psychic fighter would be ballin'. Though I am glad Machamp is in there, because somehow I think Machamp is one of the coolest pokes ever.

or just, idk underrated but cool Pokemon... like Parasect...

Now that I think about it, Bellsprout had some kind of martial arts moves in one of the Pokemon anime episodes, during the Indigo League. It was kind of showing that even the best of the best can use underleveled Pokemon with high technical skill. I think a judo-Bellsprout would be hilarious and awesome. Although they're probably going to go with something edgier and humanshapier, like Zoroark.

Nominees: Pangoro, Barbaracle, Tyrantrum, Goodra, Diggersby, Golurk, Haxorus, Reuniclus, Gothitelle, Carracosta, Scrafty, Whimsicott, Conkeldurr, Samurott, Magmar, Electabuzz, Rhydon, Lickitung, Ambipom, Roserade, Dusclops, Grumpig, a Plusle/Minun duo, Breloom, Ludicolo, Gardevoir, Blissey, Smeargle, Scizor, Ursaring, Heracross, Granbull, Sudowoodo, Meganium, Mewtwo, Pinsir, Tauros, Starmie, Exeggutor, Hypno, Muk, Rapidash, Poliwrath, Arcanine, Parasect, Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Clefable, Raichu (haha no, it'll be Pikachu...), Blastoise, Venasaur.

Folks who would make sense but I don't want to see in it: Throh, Sawk, Weavile, Garchomp, Cacturn, Zangoose,

Folks who will probably be in it: Bisharp, Zoroark, Toxicroak, Infernape, Hariyama, Gallade, Hitmontop?, Ampharos?, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Primeape yeeaaaaaahhhh.

I just got hyped for a possible Primeape. I love Primeape.

Just something to get the discussion rolling.

I have a bad feeling they're going to put Gardevoir/Mega Lopunny in it and give them cleavage because fighting game developers are pretty much the scummiest people ever.

I think it's fighting type only?

There are so many possible play styles that could be included. I feel like many fighting games are kind of limited in terms of how unique each character is. But Hariyama, Hitmontop, Heracross, Hawlucha, Medicham, etc. are all really different from each other.

I'm totally gonna use Scrafty if he's in it.

Dude though conkeldurr should be in it. Also Toxicroak will probably make it in.

I just remembered I EV trained a Toxicroak on my pokemon heartgold that I never actually got to use in battle more than like once. I trained it to know Super Fang somehow, which I'm pretty sure it can't learn anymore in the latest games? I should really open that game up again sometime. I had an awesome Quagsire.

I love Tekken. The vast amount of knowledge and experience required to actually be good at it means most people are just intelligently button mashing. Also, I like the weight things have in tekken.
