Game Sales/Bundles

14 posts in this topic

Posted (edited)

This is a thread I've been wanting to make for a while but never got around to it, I'm not going to post every sale and every bundle that is going on at all times, but sometimes there are some really great ones. This isn't really one of those times but I wanted to post this anyway.

(Also if you really did want to see all bundles going on at all times, this is a really good site for that http://bundlehq.com/ )

Okami HD and Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen are both $7 on PSN right now and I'm having a hard time deciding if I should get one or both, the thing is I just bought all of the Deus Ex games on Steam last night since they're so cheap right now.

Heres the latest PSN update for other PSN sales (in North America anyway): http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/09/16/playstation-store-update-360/

I can't really think of too many notable games on sale right now, but maybe others will contribute some time

Yeah I decided to get Dragon's Dogma too, the percentage taken off the price is a lot bigger than Okami's since DD is usually $40 on PSN.

I started playing it last night, pretty fun so far

Definitely a game I would play if I had the time and means to. It actually pays direct homage to berserk, in a collaboration between the guys who did the films and capcom:

Definitely looks like a blast to play.

Remind me to keep coming back to gog. They've got a thing going on right now where if I keep clicking the button once a day for a week I'll get Witcher 2 for free.

I played a little bit of witcher 2, because our older brother has it on Xbox. I didn't like what I played, mostly because I thought the tutorial was lousy

That isn't why I stopped playing though, I just had a bunch of other games I wanted to play more and I never went back to it. And its his copy of the game so he has it with him.

Steam is having their "Exploration" sale, a ton of stuff is on sale, like the amount of stuff that is normally on sale during holiday sales, for the next 40 hours from the time of this post, check your wishlist, I bet over half of it is on sale right now

Sunk like fifty dollars on that sale, guh. Now I have about twenty games on my steam library and only two or three I've actually played. Steam keeps puppying laying siege to my wallet. But hey, I now own Resident evil 4, The Stanley Parable, Kentucky Route 0, Darksouls: Prepare to die edition, Battleblock theater... This is an ever growing list of not-terrible games.

Yet sadly I still can't get the original Bioshock to work on my computer, and I'm not about to play 2 or 3 without having played the first one, so...

Infinite doesn't require the previous two games. There might be a reference or two you'll miss, but nothing super major.
