Bosch

One of my favorite literary characters Hieronymus "Harry" Bosch is getting his own Television series on Amazon Prime Video. The pilot episode is up now with the entire season set to premiere tomorrow. 

 

Bosch tells the story of a Gulf War vet who joined the LAPD After serving. In the pilot he lands the case of a murdered 13 year old boy while facing a civil suit for the unjust killing of a Suspected serial killer. 

 

Venerable character actor Titus Welliver plays Bosch to great effect. 

 

I hope that the series lasts because the books writer Michael Connelly says that the books plots could be adapted for future seasons. Out of all the books my favorite is the first one "The Black Echo" it's a great read and I highly recommend it.
