Yo, what's your favourite class or class archetype to play as in an RPG?

I tend to play either healers or support, like clerics, minstrels, bards, things like that.

Speaking tabletop; so far, basic fighter, ranger, or barbarian. Not an immediate fan of the combat part of DnD, but with my current ranger wood elf character, I might come around, as I go through spells and feats and learn how to use them effectively. I like the idea of having a varied character, but I often don't have the patience to be that tactical.

I played a bard in my first DnD group, which was a lot of fun because I brought my mandolin and plucked out songs on it. Honestly, though, I much prefer playing a rogue, though not one that is stereotypically opposed to the party's goals. My favorite was a rogue named Kole who believed himself to be a Kolyarut and cared greatly about the social contract between the government and the people and stole books more often than anything else.
