I wonder why, in the world today, people have become so callous and cruel to one another when there are simple resolves. How can we believe that there is good in man when we have the potential to do such things?

Oh, annoyance. How is one to understand such a feeling and know when it comes about in life if it isn't explained? It is an odd feeling, annoyance. And to have it is to feel such anger and distress at the simplest of things such as a sound, a figure or even a voice of reason.
