What's a sprite?

Sprites are little .gif's that you make pxel by pixel. All the smileys are sprites.

Well, you need a swf toolbox registered version for it to be able to be converted into .gifs, you can't just save it on macromedia (supposing you are using it) and type the extension to .gif

I'll have to hold a contest if you guys want prizes and a set of rules, but I want to see what Zelda's going to do with this thread. Making it so you have to do one character is a good way to make the judging easier. Or mabye it's to satisfy fangirly needs. But a range of options is good for the entrants...
